One truth is the same in all these religions. Money cannot buy spiritual fulfillment. This comes only by internalizing spiritual truths. This internalization is free. Some religious figures have tried to twist scriptures to change this but the deception cannot last because with or without cash payments spiritual experiences are realized. This is a picture of my Bible with a Chuck E. Cheese token leaning against it that reads "No Cash Value". I am sincerely grieved by the ways religions have exploited themselves for money and power.
The Suzuki method (スズキ・メソード, Suzuki mesōdo?, also called Talent Education, mother-tongue method, or Suzuki movement) is an educational philosophy which strives to create "high ability" and beautiful character in its students through a nurturing environment. Its primary vehicle for achieving this is music education on a specific instrument (often violin or piano, but see below for a more complete list). The 'nurture' involved in the movement is modeled on some of the factors present in native language acquisition, such as immersion, encouragement, small steps, and an unforced timetable for learning material based on each person's developmental readiness to imitate examples, internalize principles, and contribute novel ideas. The term "Suzuki method" is also sometimes used to refer solely to the Suzuki repertoire of sheet music books and/or audio recordings which have been published as part of its music education method.

Issues Tlaat JNUSU Electitln rn'usl Debate ::1 .
21.10.08.
Unite against corporate loot and its defenders! .
What constitutes the threat of corporatization? Why we should debate it in JNU? In the face of the neo-liberal onslaught, dictated by giant .
corporates, the defense of lives and livelihoods of the common people of this country must be a key concern for the students of JNU. This Is not an Issue far removed from us: it silently affects our job prospects, the kind of campus atmosphere that surrounds us, even what books and courses are available for us to study. .
Historically the corporates, by sheer control over large capital have monopolized natural resources -land, forest, .I'·' and even water. .
·~ .
From heavy industry to the kirana shop in our locality, no space is free from the corporate assault today. Governments in country after country have become the dancing puppets of these large corporate oligarchies. Wars have been waged to serve corporate interests; entire civilizations in Latin America , and recently Iraq and Afghanistan, have been wiped out so that US corporates can control their resources. Across India, from Orissa to the North-east, entire tribal communities are wiped out so that corporate mafias can control mineral and forest resources of their lands. The recent spiral in food prices was a direct outcome of the .
manipulation of the global food market by five agro-retail corporate giants, leading to suffering and starvation across several continents. .
Yet the ideas that masquerade as truth today declare: "corporates can do no wrong", "the only path to development is the corporate path","there can be no progress without corporates." .
But let us stop and ask ourselves, Is this really the case? .
Ask the citizens of Bhopal who still relive the fateful night of 3'a December 1984, when chemicals from the Union Carbide factory swept over the town, killing hundreds and forcing others to live with the perennial aftereffects--birth defects, tumors and respiratory disorders-of having been exposed to gas. .
Ask the starving farmers in Vidarbha who have been forced by government policy to buy BT cotton and other genetically modified seeds from corporates that hav~ only .
led them deeper into the debt trap and propelled many to .
such desperation that they take their own lives. .
Ask the many young men and women who come to metros in search of jobs, but suddenly find that the American company on whose policy of outsourcing they hinged their dreams has removed them from work as a "cost-cutting .
measure" .
In India today, "corporate commonsense" is pervasive and extends into almost every institutional realm. Govern-ments, at the state and central level believ~ it; educational .
institutions train students to fit the corporate mould; and the .
media propagates corporate 'virtues' each day. .
The Congress and the BJP have always been the champions of corporate interests, acting on the maxim of 'profit over people'. In the campus, too, their offspring, NSUI and ABVP openly espouse this political logic, without any pretense or shame. The JNU student movement .
which has always valued 'people over profit', has repeatedly opposed these forces and rejected them. .
But this struggle has become all the more protracted .
with some of the earlier "opponents" of capital and corporate.;, like the CPI[M] who promised to rally people under the red flag, now choosing to turn this very red flag into a red carpet .
for corporate interests. In all the states where It Is ruling, the CPI(M) has chosen to implement and promote the corporate agenda, often at gun point, whether In Slngur, Nandigram and recently in Chengara. On campus, In a shameless display of double standards, SFI has emerged as the defender of the brutal policies of the CPI(M), even while maintaining a ritual rhetoric against the neo-liberal assault. .
Not just in actions, the CPI[M] has internalized this .
corporate commonsense to such an extent that itJUStifies 1t, even in its ideological articula.tions. When a self-procla'1med 'left' force reiterates this corporate logic, then it not only .
delegitimizes the struggles for alternatives, but also strengthens the ruling class and corporate myth that 'there 1s no alternative.' The uncontrolled capitulation of CPM therefore poses·a double danger to the struggle. .
How CPI(M) turned itself into the 'Corporate .
Party of India' (Murderers) .
.
Listen to what Jyoti Basu said at a Kolkata press conference in January: "Socialism is not possible now ... We had spoken about building a classless society, but that was a long .
time ago...Socialism is our political agenda and was mentioned in our party document, but capitalism will continue to be the compulsion for the future." [IndianExpress, 6Jan, 2008] .
Listen to the CM of Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya at the CPM's highest state-level forum, the 22ncs state confer-ence: .
11Let industry grow on its own momentum ... There is no need for any political interference in Industrializa-tion." [Indian Express, 18 Jan 2008] .
This opportunism is no longer restncted to the CPM's .
"Bengal line" alone. Selling Kerala to big investors, Kerala's Industry minister E. Kareem said , .
"Nowhere else In India can you see such a concen-tration of skilled workers. Significantly, they receive very low wages, compared with their counterparts else-where. The wages offactory workers in Kerala Is lower than the national average. But the media often fall to reflect such positive changes...." (Frontline, Dec 1 2006) .
Again in 2008 Kareem said, "The investorshouldhave all freedom in choosing his employees. No economic theory not Marx certainly says that one who Idly watches while others work can claim wages." .
At the present juncture , according to the CPI[M], whoever, whenever, whatever-industrialists and industries must not only be invited and appeased with all kinds of sops, the state government must unleash all of its financial and coercive powers to get things done 1n their favour. .

For the idea of this photo, I guess I thought the concept of someone's internalized thoughts and emotions being an ever-slightly churning turmoil - represented by slightly rippling water - was kind of interesting to show. I have no idea what the pose of the portrait would mean, it was more of a decision-making moment of "What looks the best/most related to the possibility of being interesting?" Either way, I guess it didn't look half bad (hopefully).
I generally used the quick selection tool on Photoshop to select the bits I wanted, used the Layer Blending Modes and the regular Opacity and Fill amounts to cross the photographs, tried to use the Dodge Tool to brighten some of the highlights in the water (but only a little), and filled in the background with the good old Paint Bucket Tool. Not to mention the numerous times I used the Brightness/Contrast Adjustment to honestly spice the photograph up. It's probably (and possibly inexcusably) my favorite adjustment to use on Photoshop!
Self-Critique:
I kind of like how the addition of the background image of the water gave contrasting warm and cool colors depending on colors of the portrait photo - like how the red of the sweatshirt makes a softened red color when combined with the water, and the hair and skin actually give off a sort of cool color of... green?.... with the water.
I really wish I could have done better with the outline of the photo, as the outline of the figure is pretty edgy and possibly sharp enough to cause at least a papercut.
Still, I guess I'd give this photo a 16/20.
Activity Description - Supporting U.S. Department of State Reporting and Outreach:
Continuing the English club/teaching methodology workshop series at Nampula Secondary School in Nampula, Mozambique, ELF Chad LaRoche conducted a half-day workshop for local secondary school teachers focused on preparing and scaffolding students' learning processes in order to be successful in communicative activities. After discussing the teachers' own knowledge and experiences of what makes an activity communicative, the group was immersed in a sample vocabulary lesson using the ECRIF (Encounter/Clarify/Remember/Internalize/Fluency) framework. Activities built in complexity before culminating in a real-life, communicative speaking activity, after which the group processed the whole experience. The second half of the workshop was dedicated to experiencing four dynamic vocab activities that could be adapted to any target language and level, and plugged into the ECRIF framework.
In Your Own Words - Describe Your Experience:
One interesting moment of this workshop came during the processing of the ECRIF sample lesson, when one participant was concerned about the timing/staging of the lesson and how he could feasibly squeeze a lesson involving many activities within a 45 minute lesson. A light seemed to go off with the participant as I suggested this method of preparing students for communicative activities is ideal for an English club setting, where you have more time, flexibility, and room to experiment in working with beginner language learners. A common thread for this workshop series is to encourage the development of English clubs that cater to lower-level students, so my hope is this was an encouraging and useful tool, in addition to a fresh way to look at the learning/teaching process! Also, the dynamic vocabulary activities were a hit: 1) Backs to the Board 2) What's Missing?: Hiding vocab items behind a blanket while one participant takes one and others have to guess what's missing 3) Who Can Say it First?: Dropping a blanket to reveal a hidden object and participants have to shout to say it first 4) Hop Game: check it out here www.youtube.com/watch?v=H71CWvWa_oM

Our biodiversity awareness campaign project with butterflies as a focal theme is for rural schools of Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. We have noticed that rural students are not getting proper backyard biodiversity education since many of them drop out later. We felt it is important to teach them the ecological connections, since rural biodiversity is threatened by improper development and unsustainable extraction of natural resources by local community. The proposed project focus on the connection between local butterflies and native plants as food during their caterpillar and adult stages. The project is executed in three phases - classroom, outdoor and internalization sessions. The motivated students identified through internalization sessions are given the seeds or seedlings of a native butterfly host plant. We hope that the project would help in reciprocal conservation of butterflies and plants and, a few of these students would be motivated to become guardians of village biodiversity.

Salvation Story of Daughter #3
As I was going through the thousands of pictures on my hard drive, I found this picture of my third daughter. So, it got me to thinking that I would share the Salvation Story of Daughter #3. First and foremost, here is a picture of my daughter. This was taken at the exact moment she expressed to me her desire to know and follow her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
On October 16, 2015
This picture was taken. For some odd reason, no one was at home. I'm not sure where everyone was but they are all gone and this was before Hunter came to live with us. G was 14 years old. When she was about 6, she was "saved" every year at every church or school they went too. We first thought it was real and then realized that it was more for the attention than the true meaning. After about the 3rd or 4th time (I mean, she had been baptized at least 2 times before this picture was taken)...we just thought she was too young to truly understand the meaning. It would come, in time. In God's time, not our time.
Struggles
G had struggled since before she came to us at 6 years old. There were lots of things going on in her life, that were completely out of her control. She was too young to be heard and so she internalized, as most children do.
She did some very brave things that helped bring justice to some people. She also kept herself alive and fed while also keeping her younger brother alive, fed, and safe.

Our Other Body
With brutality and humor, Barkan digs through a living body to reveal our internalized racism. Our Other Body is a performance about domination and racism today. It explores how these forces are embodied in us. The performance uses the body as a theater for an intimate, playful and sincere discourse about these critical influences in our life.
The performance was part of Warehouse9's CPH Stage festival programme.
Cyber Bullying isn't just going after older people. There are many younger people who use these technologies and with that there are now many younger people involved in the world of cyber bullying. When opening a text and deciding to read it many people are not expecting to see something horrible. It is becoming a learned behavior of many victims just to accept the abuse, internalize it, and attempt to move on. The hurt on this child's face is something that is going to stick with her the rest of her life. She is 11 years old and learning at a young age that cyber bullying is a thing of life.

When people are subjected to cyber bullying it usually results in many horrible outcomes. Either the victim begins to believe the bully and feel badly about themselves which could result in suicide or self destructive behavior. Or the victim internalizes the issues and does not retaliate which in return makes the bully feel that this behavior is acceptable and the cycle of abuse continues.

My creation for The Road of Trials is "Just Words," a mixed-medium collage.
Words can be monsters especially if they are bad words that someone said and we internalized. I have trashed those negative monsterous words and replaced them with more appropriate words that express who I am and those qualities I espouse.
Background is acrylic on foam board. I used the seran wrap technique and found that crumping up the wrap and using it like a sponge helped achieve the effect I wanted. I know the quality of this photo is poor but the entire picture is somewhat enigmatic. Around the edges are descriptive words printed on a laser printer, coated with matt medium, and some backing removed so they are semitransparent. Also included are some transparent butterflies and white tissue paper added with matt medium for a filmy effect. Not very visible but scattered throughout the inner portion are various clippings from the yellowed pages of an old thesaurus. The butterfly and dragonfly are also cut from thesaurus pages. A glaze of acrylic burnt umber and matt medium was applied and items were outlined with a drawing pencil and a gold gel pen.
My aim is for the viewer to pause and look deeply.

4 years ago, I took Quantitative Statistics. I passed the class and did very well, but I wasn't entirely sure how at the time, it was very fuzzy conceptually. I wasn't at all sure WHY I was doing things. In the intervening years, I have read a lot of research papers, engaged in research myself and apparently, done some thinking about how these things work. Last semester, a friend of mine asked me to tutor her in introductory quan, and now this semester in quan 1. I wasn't sure, but she asked me to try and so I have been. I didnt realize how much I had internalized about the information as the time passed. I was able to speak a lot more conceptually and scaffold problems for her. She just passed her first exam in Quan 1 and I am really learning a lot from it myself. There is something about having to teach, or even say things out loud that really cements information for me.

Caption: Fig. 3. Model of auxin flow during leaf and leaf vascular system initiation. (A) In the SAM, auxin transported towards primordia (P) is effectively depleting the surrounding epidermis of auxin. At sites least affected by the depletion (i.e., at maximum distance from pre-existing primordia), auxin is transported in all directions through the epidermis towards an auxin maxima (black and white arrows) leading to the formation of a convergence point (CP red) to mark the site of new primordium initiation. (B) Enlarged view of the box in (A). At the primordia tip, auxin transport is turned towards subepidermal tissue (internalized), where it continues in the tip-to-base direction delineating the path of a subsequently forming vascular strand. (C) Leaf lamina with major and minor veins. (D) Expanded view of the box in (C). Auxin is transported through just a single cell file in the epidermis of the leaf margin, to form convergence points associated with the main (1°) and second (2°) order veins; the higher order (h) veins are either open with auxin transport oriented towards the major veins or they connect through bipolar cells to form loops (l). If you look closely, all the collage parts are made up of social networking site logos except for the view through the binoculars, which is made up of a bunch of embarrassing pictures that people post on the internet. So it's kinda the whole idea of how people post their lives on the internet without really internalizing the fact that anything they post is viewable to anybody, and thus the barrier between public and private life is broken down.

Tonight's submission is from Erika, aka @lopez689, let's hear about her process. -✨• It appears simple but carries depth. One that you can only understand by internalizing it through all of the senses. Feeling the blues, seeing the fragments and appreciating it as a whole •✨- Thank You MobileArtistry & especially @computerjones for this wonderful opportunity to be apart of such amazing talent!!! My process begins with a self portrait that I run through PS Express and Reduce Noice - save image. Next I open Picfx and save my image under Frames Vignette. Now using Snapseed I apply Grunge Filter, Texture 2 and save. Lastly take image to Filtermania and use a combination of Holes and Dark Woods filter. Effects were used with tapfx & wowfx.
Again Thank You Everyone at MobileArtistry. I look forward to your feed everyday as I myself am still learning.

For many Western designers, some of the most compelling fantasies of China are in wuxia, a literary genre that is more than two thousand years old. Wuxia, which roughly translates as "martial hero," relates the adventures of wandering swordsmen whose martial-arts skills are so highly developed that they can internalize their qi (life force) and unleash such superhuman powers... The stories often take place in an underworld calledjiang hu (rivers and lakes), in which martial artists cohabit with monks, bandits, and burglars. The heroes are governed by xia, a strict code of chivalry, whose common attributes include justice, honesty, benevolence, and a disregard for wealth and desire. Such traits have led many wuxia novels to be read as expositions on Buddhism, an association played out in this gallery...

'worst vacation ever’
an illustration of the romanticized, american desire for “hitting the open road”, ‘worst vacation ever’ documents the mundane and trivial pursuit of seeking adventure, looking for love, and finding oneself as typical ideas associated with traveling by automobile to a randomly appointed destination. these attempts at finding fulfillment in ones life through various extracurriculars such as speeding with the windows rolled down, screaming ‘til your throat bleeds, blaring music, spontaneous exploration and the overall juvenile desires for random recklessness ultimately lead to the internalized, unsatisfactory feeling of ennui and the unanswered question of, “why the fuck did i agree to this shit?”

Another thing Buddhists say is that Pain is inevitable, but suffering is not. I can't help but think if I was better at not internalizing stress, I would have less pain too. Did something to my back causing it to spasm last night.Grabbed the spectra on the way to lying down. Not quite what I had in mind, but I think it says where I was...
With its unusual pillars, trapped children sculptures, and pieces of metal that look like they were punched from inside, set into the columns, the sculpture garden at 210 N. Palmetto Avenue in Daytona Beach is reminiscent of Stonehenge! What seem to be randomly set art pieces, are juxtaposed for visual effect, and are wonderful to view.
Many thoughts come to mind when viewing these sculptures. Phrases like, "nothing's set in stone", or "childhood dreams", "pillars of society" and others, make you wonder just what the artist DID have in mind when putting this together. I think it means something different to different people, and since we tend to personalize and internalize our experiences, I believe each person could have a very individual interpretation.
For me, being a very concrete, but artistic thinker, these sculptures, especially those of the children, whose body parts seem to be stuck in concrete, represent a viewpoint of not being allowed to go any farther. It's like those childhood dreams died, and were replaced by the cold, hard reality that this is the way things will be. Perhaps it's just because of my own life experience. I would hope the artist was more hopeful than that!
Whatever the images mean, they are interesting and add some whimsy to the downtown area, albeit a more somber kind.
This is facing East, towards downtown Beach Street, in the heart of Daytona.

Although I don't describe myself as spiritual, at least in any conventional sense, I realize there is wisdom accumulated over centuries through people who could be described as spiritual -rishis, gurus, yogis, babas - that served humanity through ages. It is tall order to read direct sources. Fortunately we have easy access (in distilled form) through Raama.
The paperback is nice and tidy. It is remarkably not intimidating. Infact, it almost grabs you to start reading, which I did, as you flip through the pages. The format is especially suitable for consumption in bits and pieces, with little nuggets and small "chapters". Overall, it is reflective of Raama‘s style we all come to appreciate: elegant minimalism. I encourage whoever can, to have their own physical copy
Congratulations again, రామ! Well done👏👏👏

My recommendation is, read it slowly. Read 10 pages, stop and think about what Rama intends to convey. how do we internalize it?
tHe difference with other spiritual books is, the other books describe each point elaborately in 20 to 30 pages. Rama’s book just takes just a few sentences. I honestly believe that majority of us really smart cookies. We should be able to further expand it in our internalization, so better spend time on it.

"Seriously Ellyse we gotta go."
Note: Ellyse and I are only at the 1st section of stalls. She decided that she wanted this lovely creation from Tiny Feet. I quickly agreed cause we had to make it to Lounging Linda's Stall.
Note2: internalized panic mode starting again....
Note3: that's my partner, Jeff in the background...he's looking for Lounging Linda. Bless his heart, he was super helpful scouting out pieces I would like. He new my frenetic energies would get the best of me and I would over look some pieces.
