Looking for feedback on this mostly. I knew this was going to be tough so believe it ot not I shot with a tripod. I did a flash only exposure which I'll detail below and a 9 +/- bracket of .7 stops. When I tried to put it through Photomatix for some reason it completely misread the banister, couldn't cope with all the lines and gave me a totally unreadable image. So I did an old school 3 layer blend in PS, my first attempt BTW.
So the image specifics are as follows:
Flash Shot: 8 SB-800's SU-4 mode:
One on Camera: WAD, full power pointed up and to the right.
Two CL: One full diffusion pointed up and over the banister, full power
One further left pointed into room, WAD through white umbrella to reduce shadows from the banister, full power.
Three in stairwell, from 1/8th to 1/64th power, all WAD
Two in livingroom: One behind the sofa on the right, WAD pointed into the corner, 1/8th power and one behind the recliner sofa pointed into the corner, WAD, 1/16th power.
No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get enough power to retain the view without horrible hot spots on the ceiling and cabinets or horrible shadows. So after reading a bit from folks here I then layered 3 other exposures in PS and manually blended them.

Random picture of my interior lights. When the door is opened there is a green light that illuminates from under the dash. Don't know if this was an option or previous owner did this. Type-S interior is the best interior, half leather - half alcantra seats along with CF touches and yellow needles.
