CEA Project Logistics Thailand was contracted for the demobilisation and export to Malaysia of a High-Pressure Plastic Injection Moulding Machine weighing over 150 Tonnes.
Working alongside Mitsubishi technicians for this demobilisation project (the original machine supplier) CEA initially disconnected all the hydraulic interfaces between the machine and fixed supply, in addition, all high and low voltage electrical connections were disconnected.
After disassembling all interlocked gates and fencing, the hydraulic power packs were removed and packed into temporary supports. The access platforms and plastic supply hopper was removed next. A Sepro robotic arm assistor used for the omnium unloading required some expert rigging to ensure it was fully balanced before being dismantled. The injector unit was removed and loaded directly onto a low bed trailer for immediate load-out out to the CEA facility for packing.
The heavier components, 46 tonne die head and the rear platen with ejector unit at 42 tonnes were the final components to be dismantled. The tie-rod cap plates were removed first and then by use of the mobiles cranes the teams proceeded to slide out the four 6 Tonne tie-rods that connect the die head and platen, each of these were immediately loaded onto wooden supports and treated for rust protection.
Using special jig and tools specifically produced for this demobilisation, the CEA special projects team lifted both the die head and then the platen by means of top and tailing cranes. Both the die head and platen were moved into a horizontal position and loaded directly onto low bed trailers. They were then transported to the CEA facility for packing onto MAFI trailers in preparation for break-bulk load out. Other auxiliary parts and equipment were packed, stuffed and secured in several 40’ containers ready for shipping.

Family Urticaceae.
Ongaonga produces a whiteish pollen which is ejected explosively from the plant.
Ongaonga, is a nettle that is endemic to New Zealand. Sometimes known as the 'tree nettle', ongaonga has woody stems and unusually large stinging spines emanating from the leaves and every branch, and can grow 5 metres tall. Even the lightest touch can result in a painful sting that lasts several days. In Maori folklore, Kupe was said to have placed several obstacles to hinder pursuers whose wives he had stolen, one of which was the ongaonga. Ongaonga is the main food plant for larvae of the New Zealand red admiral butterfly or Kahukura, Bassaris gonerilla. There has been one recorded human death from contact—a lightly clad hunter who died five hours after walking through a dense patch.
Crowe (Which Native Forest Plant) says:
“Considering just how dangerous this shrub is, it is surprising how few New Zealanders know the plant. Not only have several dogs and horses died by coming into contact with it, it has killed at least one tramper who pushed through a thicket of this plant.”
The stinging hairs are very obvious on this nettle being some 6mm or more in length. Crowe describes them as being like a hypodermic syringe. “The slightest touch knocks off the tip of the needle leaving a slanting point that drives into the skin. The elastic barrel at the base of the needle immediately shrinks, pumping its venom into the victom. The extract from just one of these long, fat stinging hairs is sufficient to kill a guinea pig.”
Ongaonga contains the same poison as common garden nettle but also has another, as yet unidentified, poison. In severe cases of poisoning artificial respiration and injection of atropine may be necessary. Pain can be eased somewhat with calamine or antihistimine medication. Common along edges of forest (including forest tracks!) and regenerating scrub.

One look at the size of this needle and you understand just how important a port is to chemo patients. This is the first of the meds injected. They use 3 different drugs and each one is used to kill cancer cells at different stages of growth.

Premium provide insert molding service, which is a process that requires an insert to be pre-placed in the mold for injected plastic to flow around.
Plastic insert molding is ideal for improving the strength and reliability of a component by eliminating the need for secondary operations such as soldering, connectors, and adhesives. Insert molding can be accomplished through manual insert loading, the general cost-effective way to approach low volume applications orextremely complex part geometries, but automatic insert molding is a better choice for part consistency. It reduce human error, improves efficiencies, and ensures optimal cycle times.
How Does Insert Molding Work?
Insert molding can be processed both vertical and horizontal molding machines:
1. The inserts are loaded into the custom mold manually or robotically.
2. Molten plastic is injected into the mold.
3. The mold opens once cooling and the components are removed.
4. Components are separated from the sprue and inspected.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Insert Molding

This is the region between the original Alternating Graident Synchrotron (AGS) linac and the AGS itself as it appeared in 1960. 50 MeV proton beams leaves the linac at the upper left corner and travels down the 4 inch pipe to the lower right, passing through a series of focusing lenses and steering magnets. Just above the man in the foreground is a set of steering magnets for horizontal and vertical deflections. Several items of test gear necessary for proper adjustment are also located in this region. In the foreground is a "viewing box" with lucite covers over the drive mechanisms. The man in the background, wearing a head set for communication to the control room, is standing by an identical box. The pipe extending diagonally across the aisle is the exit pipe from an analyzer magnet which bends protons through about 25 degrees in order to allow a determination of the energy spread of the protons.

When we rescued this guinea pig from animal control, she had a very bad case of sores, lost fur, and bleeding on her back. Ringworm culture turned out negative, so we tried ivermection injections to see if it was mites or lice. She had her first injection ten days ago. When the vet saw her again on April 14, 2008, her skin was almost completely better! Even her fur had grown back! She got her second injection, and things should stay cleared up. Now, we will need to get the ivermection shots for the other guinea pigs with skin issues.
