Back in 1978 the A.J. Renzi Corp. produced a series of blow-molded Marvel super hero banks. The Incredible Hulk bank is 15” tall and measured 6” x 7” at the base. The Spider-Man bank is slightly taller at 15⅜” tall with a 6½” x 6½” base.

Both banks share these features. There is a coin slot in the top of the head. Instructions molded into the bottom indicate where to cut a hole to remove the savings. Painted details are applied only to the front of the banks. Stickers proclaiming “ORIGINAL SUPERHERO COLLECTOR’S EDITION BANK” appear on both sides and are 3” in diameter.

*CHECK OUT MY RECOLORED VERSION OF THIS PIC, ON THIS PAGE!* i found this ad and had to re-color it and redraw a lot of the faded parts as well as the smudges. What a fun pic considering the new developments with Marvel and Disney. i included the original so you could see what it actually looks like. What strange bedfellows these two make.

Furthermore, what the heck are the Cave Kids doing there...characters used in the early 60's comic books and definitely not in the mix during this late 70's partnership...weird!

Taken in front of Montreal Biosphere, at Parc Jean-Drapeau, on Saint Helen's Island. The hulk wants to lift this 300 ton structure.

My friend Eric was travelling from Vancouver to see our city, so we went to check out the Biosphere. Its a museum having exhibits related to environmental, water and habitats. The structure is based on the Carbon 60 model, more famously know as Buckyballs or Fullernes (for its discoveror - Buckminster Fuller). We couldn't do proper justice to the structure with photos from Inside, so took this one from outside.

Nothings heavy for the hulk!

Update : People in Japan are playing a caption game with this photo.

This was my second year of going to take photos of the Halloween Pub Crawl, in downtown Springfield, Missouri.

The Hulk was HOT, but he looks constipated in my pic here.
