The DWP building along with the patio of the Ahmanson Theater on Hope St. in Los Angeles was a location used for one of the dream sequences in the 2010 movie "Inception".

The corner of Wilshire and Hope in Downtown Los Angeles was seen frequently in the many dream scenes of the 2010 movie "Inception".
Day 25-- Watched Inception. Brain is broken.
Might have helped to concentrate on the movie instead of just listening to it while sorting photos and playing solitaire on the computer.
The movie was one of my husband's Christmas presents. We brought home at least a dozen new movies this year.
I feel kind of bad about taking a picture of someone else's picture as my 365 shot, but the DVD cover really doesn't look much like my shot of it. No one would ever leave Leonardo DiCaprio a blurry mess on a DVD cover, but I'm not a huge fan, so my version has only Ellen Page in focus.

I cannot recommend this film enough. Just mind blowing. I walked out of the theater almost tingling and could not stop thinking about it. It's slow in the first hour at times but the last half of the movie is full of suspense and just stunning, especially the ending, which you will debate with your friends. I don't know how Christopher Nolan will top this.

A bent loan and pavement inspired by Aydın Büyüktaş' great works and the film "Inception" (2010).
I wrote a prototype in Python with OpenCV2. That works pretty well. The problem is that it is very difficult to move the video camera smoothly. I really want a robotic camera or a drone.
Inspired by the great Saul Bass, I decided to use my illustrator skills to have a crack at an inspired adaptation of an Inception poster.
Side note: If you enjoy cinema, you owe it to yourself to see this film.
