Rich colors

Here I am still working on Sophie's sweater despite the fact that she has just been born. Alas, my plan for her to wear it home from the hospital didn't pan out.

it's that faux-cable again, with sort of a lace rib between repeats. this is a swatch for a sweater that i'm still working out - i've cast on, but not decided how i want to do the shoulders.

Since the head tilts back (intentionally) , and there'll be wings in the back, I was worried about it over balancing. A couple of pennies in the base should prevent that.
