In-progress shot of this year's christmas card design.

It will never be finished, because tan is way to expensive.

espero que essa merda saia um pouco parecido com o que eu tenho em mente.

(Do excuse the early morning blurriness: my camera needs more coffee, too, apparently. Tidbits on the counter remain from one fine, homecooked mole´ dinner -- mine seitan, his chicken -- as well.)

that will be an abstract form. Christine likes this as is, though.

This is a picture of a chicken pot pie with the ingredients of the effects of farming farming instead of 1 cup of vegetables, 2 tablespoons of milk, etc. The background would be purple. and It will have a hashtag to tie into my "all natural" social media campaign. Tagline: life should not be a factory, bring PEACE to the farms.

Sea level + 15m. Cloud plugin is making some funky fog but the results should be good enough with a little photoshop. Hard to control the density in any meaningful way.

It's possible Joshua has already broken it. Also possible we don't know how to wire it up once I get the bulbs on it.

Same model, three configurations.

was going through inventory yesterday and realized that four owl pins just will not do! So I got on a roll and cut out 16 of them! here they are drying on my printer after tacking the pieces together with dots of Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue - the best method I've found for my felt applique pieces.

Parametric offsets at the joints are independent of each module's orientation.

This is Cozy, from a pattern from Fall '04's "Knitty." I'm using Rowan Summer Tweed for this. It's slightly less than 1/4 done in this shot. The color here is pretty true; it's sort of a turquoise (the color is called Exotic)

making some sort of half socks for my grandmother. She has thick bandages on her feet/ankles/shins but they don't cover her toes. Her socks and slippers don't fit over the bandaging so her toes get a bit cold sometimes. I thought I'd make something she can slip over the bandages as a belated Christmas present (something of a relief because she's probably the most difficult person to get gifts for on my list every year).

Just one part of a work-in-progress

painting=fun.

And yes, that is my dress in a pile on the floor, thank you very much. It was a fine, fine end to a Saturday last night here at Chez Ballard.
