For FGR "I'm a Poser"
I don't know what has brought on the sudden confidence in my photos over the last two days. Today's early morning self-love shot is my way of celebrating my 365 (366) half way point! YAY!!!!
183/366 (HALF WAY!)
Day 183
Today is my halfway point in my 365 project - day 183 out of 366 self portraits.
It's also Canada Day today.
So....Happy Canada Day to all of my fellow Canadians, and congratulations to all those 365ers who have made it to the halfway point!
Also for GTWL's theme Rule of Thirds, Half Dressed Tuesdays, FGR and the group I'm A Poser.
My husband thought of this shot - I was so stuck for a halfway sp today!
For day 100 I did a 'writing on skin' shot, so he thought today I could do the same, in my middle because I'm in the middle of the 365 project - get it?
So...for those of you following (or not following) my 365 project, here are a few interesting tidbits of information about it, so far:
Out of 183 photos....
- 17 have my daughter in them
- in 72 of them, I don't show my face - not sure why?
- 9 of them are jumping pictures
- I ventured out of my home area for only 16 of them!
- in 7 of them (most of them recent), I bared my belly
- my loving hubby stars in 16 of them
For FGR's I'm a Poser group...pictures that make you want to make lurve to yourself. What? Doesn't everyone have fake chest hair?
This may be hard to believe, but I've been accused of being a poser once or twice in my life? I know! Me!
Anyway, I couldn't let the FGR choice of I'm a Poser go without joining in. It just wouldn't be right!
FGR challenge - Self portraits which express some kind of self love.
Had to think about this one. Ahhh, it's when I take my time getting up in the morning, stick my legs up in the air, and like what I see.
I've been going to this zumba class at our school's gym on Tuesday and Thursday nights. It's one choc-full hour of Latin spunk so I was trying to get my attitude on in this picture (and the 30 others I took), as I was getting ready to go. I think my sass-face needs some practice.
P.S. I'm almost caught up! Stay tuned for a posting (hopefully) tomorrow...
For FGR and I'm a poser
Today's FGR theme is a bit vague, not sure how to take it. So I thought i'd try to give it multiple explanations:
- Self love: I never really liked my tummy, thought it was to chubby. It still kinda is but even now with the marks of my pregnancy, I learned to love it, cause it's part of me.
- It's a naked tummy...there ya go with the nakedness ;)

I am multi-tasking, because I am using this photo for three groups: FGR/I'm a Poser and GTWL:Rule of Thirds (day 1 for me). =)
I love me for the person that I have become. All of the the experiences that I have been through in my life have helped shape the person that I am today. Granted, not all of them are good, but if you accept me, like I accept me..you have to accept all of me, not just part of me. Right? Right. :)
