Israeli Merkava tanks roll down during a military exercise near the northern border with Syria in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights on October 02, 2013. The Golan has been tense since the 2011 start of the conflict in Syria, but so far there have only been minor flare-ups as Syrian small arms fire or mortar rounds hit the Israeli side, prompting an occasional response by Israel, which seized 1,200 square kilometres (460 square miles) of the strategic plateau during the 1967 Six Day War. A screen grab taken from news footage by Japanese public broadcaster NHK on March 14, 2011 shows the moment of a hydrogen explosion at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power station number three reactor on March 14, 2011. An explosion shook a quake-damaged Japanese nuclear power plant on March 14 and plumes of smoke rose from the building, live television showed. Japan's nuclear safety agency said the blast, at the number 3 reactor at the Fukushima No. 1 plant, was believed to be caused by hydrogen. JAPAN OUT AFP PHOTO / HO / NHK.

A protester throws a stone at anti-riot police during a demonstration in Athens on December 18, 2008. The Greek capital was "suffocating" under a barrage of tear gas Thursday as 5,000 protesters swamped riot police outside parliament, 12 days after the police killing of a teenager sparked riots. Greek authorities had earlier this week sent out urgent appeals to foreign countries for fresh stocks of tear gas -- and warned the public to steer clear of the city centre after a coalition of students, teachers, unions and left-wing demonstrators vowed to step up anti-government sentiment. US President George W. Bush (R) chats with Chinese President Hu Jintao (C) and Russian President Vladimir Putin (C) at the end of the Asian-Pacific leaders meeting in Hanoi, 19 November 2006. All 21 Asia-Pacific leaders wore dresses. But only the three women, pretty in pink, had the sartorial nerve to don the hats. Each year, the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum provides world leaders with an opportunity to strut their stuff in the traditional garb of the host country for the so-called "family photo". People stand at a building which collapsed after a quake rattled Mexico City on September 19, 2017.

A powerful earthquake shook Mexico City on Tuesday, causing panic among the megalopolis' 20 million inhabitants on the 32nd anniversary of a devastating 1985 quake. The US Geological Survey put the quake's magnitude at 7.1 while Mexico's Seismological Institute said it measured 6.8 on its scale. The institute said the quake's epicenter was seven kilometers west of Chiautla de Tapia, in the neighboring state of Puebla.

These photos were taken at Deem Hills Park in Stetson Hills. Took pictures of my model in a variety of positions depending on how the sun was setting. I liked this picture because of the soft light that was on my subject while the slight bit of bright light contrasts in the background. I didn't edit this picture too much besides putting a slight vignette on.

This photo fits my concentration because it uses natural light to help the portrait.
