This is one of the heirloom, one-of-a-kind dresses that I make. I do all of the smocking by hand and then hand-embroider a little scene over the smocking. Each scene is created like a little vignette, intended to spark the imagination of the little girl wearing it, encouraging thought about what could be taking place in that particular scene. This particular dress was a custom order. The request was for something similar to another dress that I had made titled 'To the Swimming Hole". Since I don't two dresses exactly the same, this is an example of one that is similar in design but not the same, as another dress in my collection.
Annie Oakleaves needed stitchers for her new patterns and this is the one I received. I tinted the house and the little girls hat with crayons.
The two on the left are on Pakistani ceramic candleholders bought at Nomad Gallery in Islamabad. The two on the right are made of wood, and bought at Chatuchak market in Bangkok. The hand-embroidered tapestry is Sindh style (with little round mirrors sewn in) bought at Maharajah carpets and handicraft store in Islamabad.
I never imagined, when I bought this piece of leather, that I could use it in this way.
A fantastic, hand embroidered, leather bracelet.
The rose in the middle of the bracelet have five shades of pink and it's in between two little blue flowers.
It is cut in such a way that embraces the wrist.
The width of the bracelet is 8.5cm.
You can find it in my etsy shop!!

Infant Onesie – SIZE 9 months ONLY!
Hand embroidered and appliquéd onesie. This onesie has amazing detail on each piece. I hand cut pieces from high end fabric and then “made” my own flower, I think it turned out rather well. I hope you do too! This onesie is truly one of a kind… be proud to sport this onesie on your earth baby. I know I would!
