R.E.M. - „It‘s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)“

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0GFRcFm-aY

That's great, it starts with an earthquake

Birds and snakes, an aeroplane

And Lenny Bruce is not afraid

Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn

World serves it's own needs, don't misserve your own needs

Feed it up a knock, speed, grunt, no, strength

The ladder starts to clatter with a fear of height, down, height

Wire in a fire, represent the seven games

And a government for hire and a combat site

Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies

Breathing down your neck

Team by team, reporters baffled, trumped, tethered, cropped

Look at that low plane, fine, then

Uh-oh, overflow, population, common group

But it'll do, save yourself, serve yourself

World serves it's own needs, listen to your heart bleed

Tell me with the Rapture and the reverent in the right, right

You vitriolic, patriotic, slam fight, bright light

Feeling pretty psyched

It's the end of the world as we know it

It's the end of the world as we know it

It's the end of the world as we know it

And I feel fine

Six o'clock, TV hour, don't get caught in foreign tower

Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn

Lock him in uniform, book burning, bloodletting

Every motive escalate, automotive incinerate

Light a candle, light a motive, step down, step down

Watch your heel crush, crush, uh-oh

This means no fear, cavalier, renegade and steering clear

A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies

Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline

It's the end of the world as we know it

It's the end of the world as we know it

It's the end of the world as we know it (I had some time alone)

And I feel fine

(I feel fine)

It's the end of the world as we know it (it's time I had some time alone)

It's the end of the world as we know it (it's time I had some time alone)

It's the end of the world as we know it (it's time I had some time alone)

And I feel fine

The other night I dreamt a nice continental drift divide

Mountains sit in a line, Leonard Bernstein

Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny Bruce, and Lester Bangs

Birthday party, cheesecake, jellybean, boom

You symbiotic, patriotic, slam but neck, right, right

FRi Uttarakhand - people in geometry series. The classic repetition. The endless cycle of karma. Your life within the grasp of inevitable death. You’ve gotta love India. It’s People live. Full lives. They have huge hearts. Look up or down! You’ll undoubtedly see the rhythm of: Lightness & Darkness. Of openness. It’s intoxicating. Contagious. Ah…my heart bleeds…

My favorite season is not summer. It’s fall. Living for the day when this pandemic will be over & I was I’ll be on the plane to my happy place 💚 I love to read but books are not substitute for real life experiences (whatever they are). If I haven’t traveled how would I know that in this world exists a place that can make me 1000 times happier person ♥️♥️ . . . My heart bleeds for people who cannot travel for health reasons when they have a desire to do so.

Burning books ll

In darkening times l remain numb still as my heart is sinking through my body. My burning books scattered ashes to ashes with my shoes in the blackness of smokey clouds my heart bleeds as warm tears fall from the skys burning brightly from weeping mother earth with her strong roots guides me as my inner light carries me through the darkness into the dawn above the skies stars of light and unity

I paint this on behalf of all woman who are suffering in the world... You are precious unique individuals. Never let anyone or anything reduce your essence. Vulnerability is your power in your love and tenderness. Inner freedom resides deep within you.The truth will find it. Freedom of choice and expression is your human right. Sending love and light..

I am thinking about humanity in art and the struggles many artists woman face in their art/ life. The pain and suffering we feel and experience, real things empower art. The inner light energy that resides deep within us ignites it, We mustn't lose our essence. l listen to my inner voice that helps me to stay true and be free to express myself an artist creator a woman. This is precious!! It is important we stay true....

My heart and prayers go to all the innocent victims and families who are suffering in Israel and Palestine. l stand by all the innocent victims in the world who are suffering through war and other modern day cruelty. l pray for peace and harmony soon to israel, Ukraine to the world. Stay strong !

Self-portrait In The Woods

(October 11th, 2020)

Bosque County, Texas, U.S.A.

In October this year, when the coronavirus pandemic in my metroplex started becoming more and more of a burden for me, I felt like escaping somewhere in nature. It happened that camping at Lake Whitney was a perfect destination. That was one of those getaway weekends that will always stay in my heart and memory for two reasons: it was so exciting as I was camping in the U.S. for the first time, plus it allowed me to reconnect with Nature at the level I've never experienced before.

My tent was suspended among the trees about four feet off the ground on the 10-acre fenced property on the west side of Lake Whitney. At the begining, I feared a little about the safety, but I quickly understood that being one with Nature is the safest thing that could ever happen to me.

I have to admit that the first night was like a nightmare; hearing all those wildlife voices was simply scary because it seemed very close to me as I was separated from outdoor world just by a thin net of my safari tent. The second night, when I got used more to the sound of night, I started hearing moaning of wildlife being killed by hunters; a lot of gunshots interrupted my sleep. I had a strange thought that people living in their cozy houses may never realize how cruel can be life in the forest at night; how cruel people entertain themsleves at night in the forest. I also felt that if those hunters were killing animals in front of my eyes, I might try to kill them myself at the very same moment even if just with a kitchen knife. I strongly believe I was born to live out of the system, because watching what's happening with the world makes me heart bleed too much. I'm particularly concerned about animal and plants' world.

Aside from a few inconveniences related to my high sensitivity, it was a very educational three-day stay that made me ponder upon important questions. It was also a delight to breathe fresh air, falling asleep with starry sky over my head, waking up with the sunrise and chirping birds.

To tell the truth, I was lazy like never before to take pictures. I just wanted to be present there with my all senses, not to lose a moment of the time gifted to me in nature that I've been missing so much. However, on the second day, which happened to be extremely hot, I succeded in shooting a few self-portraits in the morning just before going to the lake.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=FB3G3A0cFsE Sometimes I wonder 💭 is New York a happy city . . . Probably not . . . We see Times Square & NYC lights. Who wants to speak up about broken hearts 💔 or broken dreams. Who wants to hear about broken lives from Brooklyn Bridge . . . not every story is an engagement story with a happy ending. And yet very few of those people realize how they contribute to the verse. I would not stop someone and ask “So how was another night of Netflix channel or Hulu ?” But I would stop some and ask “What made your heart bleed ? What made you you.” Was Walt Whitman, Allen Ginsberg, Pushkin, Van Gogh happy ? What would they give to the world if they were ! Maybe it’s not the happiness that makes New York unique but rather it’s brokenness & imperfections. ♥️

This nice spot that I found

Connected to the ground

I'm staying here all night

Staring at the open sky

Till my eyes... Bleed!

Then my soul starts to fly

Far from the chaos of this life

All these calls seem unheard

For the lost cause of this world!

This forest where I hide

Away from the city lights

It's where I meet my peers

Those who are no longer here

Till my heart... Bleeds!

For so long, I've been out there

Being strong in despair

But tonight, I'll get lost

Till my bones turn to dust!

Hard to be heard

No one is listening

You can't be seen

If the sun refuses to shine

Why should I be?

If this life has no meaning

I'm travelling far away out there

Through the sky deep in my head

I escape!

Feelings get hurt

And no care is given

Such a lonely star

In darkness confined

Look up at the sky

And no care is given

Such a lonely star

In darkness confined

For so long, I've been out there

Being strong in despair

But tonight, I'll get lost

Till my bones turn to dust

...tonight

My heart bleeds purple today...21st April 2016 - R.I.P

If you have the power, will you solve their problems?

Certainly most of us will say: Yes, I will build another much better bridge than this one.

But it seems, most form of Government in this world has their share of this basic problems or the like.

Maybe your heart bleeds when you see people are just has nothing to do with their situation.

But when we look into the Bible, there is the only best Government that will solve the basic problems, that has not been solved by any form of human Government. If you have a Bible in your Library now or in your cabinet, try opening your Bible at Matthew 6:9 it says: "“YOU must pray, then, this way:

“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. "

Jesus taught us to pray about that "Kingdom" to come. That Kingdom is a form of government under Jesus' Kingship and that government is free from corruption. Only then that we had one form of Government earth wide and it is called a "Theocratic Form of Government".

This photo is not mine and was just sent to me from Vietnam. I want to thank the owner of this photo, but did not find any trace who was the photographer of this.

About that Egyptian village. The blacksmith in www.flickr.com/photos/onkelulle/402550252/ the house now looks like www.flickr.com/photos/lenkapeac/406044391/

Thanks a lot to Lenka for remembering to take a few shots of Quorna. My heart bleeds when I see it….

UNION SQUARE: 100 YEARS AFTER THE END

I recently came across this really interesting timeline that showed (with awesome photoshop illustrations) what the Earth would look like without any human life.

So, we were out walkin' in Union Square and I saw this statue of Ghandi...and for some reason, I thought this symbol of peace and harmony would look great in this post-apocalyptic scene. Also wanted to do this off-sepia / grain thing to make it look like an old photograph.

HDR from a single exposure with a lot of dodging, burning, and plant making.

I'll post the original below.

Please! No more than 3 invites per person!

When you think it’s as if your thoughts are outside of your body. Almost as if they’re like objects your eyes see, merely reflections of what’s inside. We all say that we can’t control what happens inside our minds but I don’t believe any of it really happens inside. The outside is the over powering variable. It’s the air that you breathe, do you find it is sweet or stale? Is the blood pumping through you really blue or is it red or is it a rainbow of colours? It’s not facts, it’s choice.

It’s an interesting thought. Light reflected off of objects makes them visible to us. Maybe, there are things in the world that do not reflect any thing, things that are truly invisible. Perhaps those of us who believed in imaginary friends or the concept of invisibility were not insane but tuned in to the world more than anyone expected. Yes, your brain may send waves of technical ingeniousness that we call thoughts but is it not your choice to perceive your findings a certain way? You see a cloud that is white, why can’t you say it’s purple when the person who came up with the term ‘white’ must be dead by now?

Times change, hearts bleed, and people stop seeing the invisible parts of life. Why? Because, admitting it would mean admitting that you’re crazy to the whole, entire world. I don’t think I’m crazy and nor do I think I’m better off than anyone else. The fact though, is I would happily ask someone what they think of that orange cloud just to see the reaction the world has morphed onto their face. For as stated above, thoughts no longer come from inside. They are planted like seeds from the outside, every single thought imaginable is there but some are invisible to the light they desire so much. If you pay no attention those seeds never grow and you become another blood cell in these streets of veins that we call life. But even a child would tell you that these are not facts. They’re choices.

This picture makes my mind gooo crazy. Hence the writing. This shoot was probably some of the most fun I’ve had in forever.

Hope you’re all well

A lot of people have not excepted the government payment for their land and home in areas that were sinking due to liquefaction. These people may be left with no services if they breakdown in the coming months or years.

Bleeding heart flowers from Oregon! :)

...Comes Around

Hey girl, is he everything you wanted in a man?

You know I gave you the world

You had me in the palm of your hand

So why your love went away

I just can't seem to understand

Thought it was me and you babe

Me and you until the end

But I guess I was wrong

Don't want to think about it

Don't want to talk about it

I'm just so sick about it

Can't believe it's ending this way

Just so confused about it

Feeling the blues about it

I just can't do without ya

Tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?

Is this how we say goodbye?

Should've known better when you came around

That you were gonna make me cry

It's breaking my heart to watch you run around

'Cause I know that you're living a lie

That's okay baby 'cause in time you will find...

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

Now girl, I remember everything that you claimed

You said that you were moving on now

And maybe I should do the same

Funny thing about that is

I was ready to give you my name

Thought it was me and you, babe

And now, it's all just a shame

And I guess I was wrong

Don't want to think about it

Don't want to talk about it

I'm just so sick about it

Can't believe it's ending this way

Just so confused about it

Feeling the blues about it

I just can't do without ya

Can you tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?

Is this how we say goodbye?

Should've known better when you came around (should've known better that you were gonna make me cry)

That you were going to make me cry

Now it's breaking my heart to watch you run around

'Cause I know that you're living a lie

That's okay baby 'cause in time you will find

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around comes around

Yeah

What goes around comes around

You should know that

What goes around comes around

Yeah

What goes around comes around

You should know that

Don't want to think about it (no)

Don't want to talk about it

I'm just so sick about it

Can't believe it's ending this way

Just so confused about it

Feeling the blues about it (yeah)

I just can't do without ya

Tell me is this fair?

Is this the way it's really going down?

Is this how we say goodbye?

Should've known better when you came around (should've known better that you were gonna make me cry)

That you were going to make me cry

Now it's breaking my heart to watch you run around

'Cause I know that you're living a lie

But that's okay baby 'cause in time you will find

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

What goes around, goes around, goes around

Comes all the way back around

[Comes Around interlude:]

Let me paint this picture for you, baby

You spend your nights alone

And he never comes home

And every time you call him

All you get's a busy tone

I heard you found out

That he's doing to you

What you did to me

Ain't that the way it goes

When you cheated girl

My heart bleeded girl

So it goes without saying that you left me feeling hurt

Just a classic case

A scenario

Tale as old as time

Girl you got what you deserved

And now you want somebody

To cure the lonely nights

You wish you had somebody

That could come and make it right

But girl I ain't somebody with a lot of sympathy

You'll see

(What goes around comes back around)

I thought I told ya, hey

(What goes around comes back around)

I thought I told ya, hey

(What goes around comes back around)

I thought I told ya, hey

(What goes around comes back around)

I thought I told ya, hey

[laughs]

See?

You should've listened to me, baby

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Because

(What goes around comes back around)

[laughs]

Headed up to Katoomba this morning to shoot this iconic location.

The weather gods looked after us, met a few nice people, and all in all had a great morning out.

Hope you like "Its The End Of The World As We Know It"

FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE – Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov

I don't cut brambles

they are not weeds

I let blow in

all that seeds

the bumble bee

finds all it needs

here in my garden

where no heart bleeds

all are welcome

great and small

with open arms

I greet them all

come rain or shine

the four winds blow

land in my garden

and start to grow

from bumble bee

to humble me

I love all nature

it's part of me

at the heart of me

here by the sea

is a sanctuary

filled by serendipity

it is by chance

and sweet happenstance

like pennies from Heaven

and angel's feathers that dance

I am quite sure

at the foot of the willow

there is a land undiscovered

as soft as a pillow

where the stuff of dreams

and of fairytales

comes alive at night

like a billowing sail

setting forth on journeys

landing who knows where

where happiness is all

life is without a care

so listen carefully

when the sun goes down

and you will hear the murmurings

of a tiny town

little doors creak open

little people come out

and under the full moon

they laugh and shout

sometimes I creep out

in the dead of night

when I cannot sleep

and my pillow fights

and I sit in my garden

beneath that old tree

listening and waiting

to unearth the mystery

of why things go missing

or turn up somewhere strange

do the fairy folk borrow them

in return leave me small change

my mind is open

and so is my heart

wishing for a glimpse of them

a sudden noise makes me start

oh, it's just Mr Fox

scratching himself against a tree

followed by Mr Badger

hurrying happily

my daytime garden is transformed

by different smells, sounds and creatures

at night it is a different world

filled with different kinds of teachers.

One week later, we go to concerts, we will always eat pizza ... our lives are sad, we are thinking of you but we resist by living like we always done ...

We are united ... our hearts bleed, our eyes are wet and feelings are flying as an autumn's wind to you, your families, your children, your friends ...

"What a cruel thing is war; to separate and destroy families and friends, and mar the purest joys and happiness God has granted us in this world; to fill our hearts with hatred instead of love for our neighbours, and to devastate the fair face of this beautiful world!"

its such a beautiful flower, and it captures the way my heart feels today. i'm reading a book talking about oil spills in the ocean...my heart bleeds for the destruction we cause as humans on this earth.

my little sister is visiting with me for the week.

she is here to rest her grieving heart.

a few months ago she lost her youngest son (19 yrs. old) to suicide.

it is so difficult to watch her heart bleed and know that there is nothing i can do to ease her pain.

someone once asked a woman who had lost her child, "how did you get through it?"

to which the woman replied, "i didn't mean to...i just kept waking up."

"Voltar a ter escuridão, voltar a ter fogo, voltar a ter paz."

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane -

Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -

world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock,

speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,

down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for

hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies

breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered

crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,

common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its

own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the

reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright

light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,

this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,

a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

Barlett's Bleeding Heart Dove (Gallicolumba Crinigera)

This photo is dedicated to my future wife and the love of my life because when I think of her my heart bleeds like this dove.

beautiful old wooden barrels we found discarded in great numbers in a messy yard ready to being destroyed as it seemed. Things like these make my heart bleed ... :(

I was going to celebrate my joy of my car, but I don't feel like much celebration light of the terrorist attack in Nice. My heart bleeds, my tears keep streaming on my face. It's just so senseless, tragic, and enrages me to no end.

As you know we were there just a week ago. Actually the picture I took in the early morning of July 6 of the lone lady on the bench is exactly one of the spot where the attack happened.

My heart bleeds and drips with sadness , for today was the day you brought me sorrow!

Sometimes it can feel like the weather mirrors your life. On this morning I was a day away from finding out the sex of our child, so seeing those pink clouds light up was a powerful moment. In early 2016 my first chance for dedicated photography as an approaching storm lined up with sunrise. This spectacular phenomena occurs when tule fog breaches the Diablo foothills and streams through the Valley.

Today is the day the reality that she will never be able to experience this world. So I dedicate this to my daughter. My daughter who never had a chance, who I will never get to see. :( I love you so much my heart bleeds
