Day 080 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey

In the local grocery store next to all the Easter candy and stuff. I guess these are for putting into an Easter basket. Gee, we only got jelly beans and one solid chocolate bunny rabbit when I was a kid.
The third Grogu over to the right has very creepy eyes. The fluorescents just didn't reach them, I guess.

I had a photo ready for SoS and then my husband brought home this "Baby Yoda" and that was that. It's actually an eraser about 3 cm high. (Plus it comes with a display stand.) The Mandalorian is a Pez dispenser. I used a pipe cleaner to give him a shoulder shape and then draped him in black fabric to serve as his cape.
Edit: That should say, shaped like a Pez dispenser. The top opens to reveal a lollypop, not to dispense Pez.
Well relaxing on this sunny day with Sir Grogu Fredrick II. He is new to the family from the Rezz Room.

After building a Mandalorian MOC last week find it here, I decided to build another one yesterday. If you haven't already seen the latest Mandalorian episode, THEN WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!? π
This build takes place on the planet Korvis and features the Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano, and Grogu (Baby Yoda). The build was pretty simple, only taking around five hours to build.

Everyone meet Sir Grogu Frederick!! Got him yesterday and he been super cute. I always wanted to have a pug in rl but at this time i can't. So when this little came to Equal 10 I just have to have him. Pug + Star Wars = Happy me lol Stay tuned for more photos.
Time for our next adventure with Mando and Grogu. Who knows what is going to happen next.

The first words from Grogu, were actually at his Christening to be a full fledge Mandalorian. Just before he got his full armor.

now it is time for the second creation of my brand new THE MANDALORIAN season 3 building series. This one was an easy decision because I want to build the N1 starfighter of Mando a time ago, then this episode dropped with the stunning visuals on Mandalore, so here we go:

As the ship descends through the atmosphere of Mandalore, the clouds buffet R5-D4 and cause the ship's systems to flicker. When they have broken through the clouds, Djarin suggests that the fusion bombs from the Great Purge of Mandalore disrupted the magnetic field around the planet, preventing any communication out of atmosphere. The ship lands in a clearing surrounded by jagged pieces of green trinitite, and Djarin orders R5 to scout ahead and test the atmosphere in the mines. R5 reluctantly trundles off in the direction Djarin indicates. When Grogu shows concern about R5, Djarin says they can watch it on the scope, which shows a dot slowly travelling away from them before abruptly disappearing. As Djarin unsuccessfully tries to raise R5 on comms, the ship's systems flicker again. Djarin says it is probably just atmospheric interference, but acquiesces to Grogu's distress, leaving the ship to go find R5 after pressurizing his helmet. [...]
I hope you like my N1 starfighter version and my LEGO interpretation of the surface of Mandalore. With the Black bricks with the SNOT building technique there are some nice reflections on the ground.

Iβm posting my yearly photo a few months early this year. Grogu begged for a photo of us together! How in this galaxy could I deny this precious little baby?!!
I built IG-11 to go with my custom Mando figure after season 1 but had to upgrade it to IG-12 after this week's episode! This is the way.

2 month later I proudly present to you my biggest creation I've ever made, which is 1,40 m long, 54 cm wide and 30 cm high. I used around 13.000 bricks, 31 minifigures and a Razor Crest MOC (design from richboyjhae) with about 5.400 parts. The creation shows the Razor Crest landing site, a hillside with blaster action and Boba Fett at it's best on the planet Tython, which you can see in season 2 of the disney+ series STAR WARS THE MANDALORIAN!
Here is the background story for what happens on Tython in the series:
The Mandalorian arrives with Grogu on Tython, and finds the ancient temple on top of a mountain. He seats Grogu at the center so that he may choose his path. Grogu meditates, and a protective Force field appears around him. Boba Fett arrives with the mercenary Fennec Shand, whose life he saved on Tatooine, and demands the return of his Mandalorian armor.[a] Following a tense confrontation, the Mandalorian agrees to trade the armor for the safety of Grogu. Two Imperial troop carriers arrive, carrying stormtroopers who attempt to capture Grogu. Honoring their agreement, Fett, Shand, and the Mandalorian join forces to fend off the advancing stormtroopers, inflicting heavy casualties. Boba Fett retrieves his armor and uses it to wipe out many stormtroopers before firing a rocket that destroys the fleeing troop ships. As the Force field surrounding him disappears, Grogu collapses from exhaustion.

Hopefully you enjoy my newest creation, I'm honestly very happy how it turned out and it was great to see it grow. Now I'm probably visit some LEGO conventions with that display piece, so I can present that huge work to a live audience.

The 6th episode Book of Boba was full with unexpected scenes and characters! I was glad to leave Tatooine for this vignette and build some fresh bamboos.

Yes you read that right today is national pug day and i wanted to snuggle with little Sir Grogu Fredrick. Let's take the time and snuggle up to the dogs you love.
I came up with this 5-piece version of Baby Yoda and thought that it's too small to be presented as is :D So using the Hollow knight characters as a reference I made a Mando figure. I did similar one few years back, not entirely brick built, but this one I like better.
Hello everybody. I've received the Lego Mandalorian BrickHeadz set as a christmas gift and I really enjoyed building it. Although it's a great, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the figures, therefore I decided to make some updates:
For Mando I decided to change the visor, because I dislike the unprinted slope curved which Lego used in the set (a printed tile like for the Boba Fett BrickHeadz would have been so much better). Grogu now has a more rounder head and I changed the position of the arms so that he can drink his soup π . As a special I also made a Cara Dune figure as a MOC. The birthmark and the tattoo are smaller stripes from an lego sticker sheet.

It gets cold on Vandor-1! Little Grogu warms up with his favorite hot beverage. The locals come to know it as Grogu Grog.
The concoction has also been found to effectively loosen frozen gears in the giant machinery.
The actual taste is questionable.

I've been re-watching The Mandalorian as Iβve been building lately and I was reminded of a few photos I took for Blocks Magazine Issue 72 back in 2020 that I never posted online before.
For this image, the Jawa are at it again! This time a tribe of them are spaceshipjacking Din Djarinβs beloved Razor Crest for parts in the mountains of Arvala-7 (maybe they intend on selling them on BrickLink). Good thing he has his trusty Amban Phase Pulse Blaster with him.
