It is nice to see the world with only lines. colour pink, textures and water droplet.
On the day I had walk in my neighburhood, I shot the early fall colour and I shot also the rain drops which are my favorites all the time.

Traveling is about getting closer. Closer to the next connection, next meeting, next day. Closer to your family, friends and colleagues. Getting closer to where we have to be, want to be, and, at times, where we don't. We travel across town, across borders, across time. We travel to get closer to the places and people in our lives.
Spring is the flower shooting season. It is also the weed shooting time. Weed has its place in the world too.
Fuji XF 60mm F2.4 is not a true macro lens as it has only 1:0.5 reproduction ratio. Yet it is capable to shoot these dandelions in my neighbourhood.

Icicles hanging from the eaves of my house, glistening in the sunlight and slowly melting. The droplet has a refraction of the trees in the ground as an added bonus.

All week I have been thinking of what concept to make for this week flickr friday until i thought that friday is getting closer. I instantly thought of time that is swiftly passing by without us even knowing.
this is the remains of a dandelion. A determine weed and the last few on this one would NOT blow off. Determination for sure!
This cat was different from the rest of the cats in the pagoda that I visited. She was very smart, gently and demanding for love

This kind of Tortoise calls: Rùa Kim Tiền, Kim Tiền Quy, Cuora trifasciata, Three-lined box turtle, or Golden coin turtle.
The three-striped box turtle has a fairly small range through northern Vietnam. It lives in clear mountain streams and other sub-tropical to temperate, aquatic situations.
There is a lot of magic story about eating this kind of Turtle for magic cure. Consequense is it is a rare species now in Vietnam. Mostly, the hunter will export it to China where they make it become magic jelly. (I really doubt these "magic" words.)
This species needed to be protected by animal lovers.
I went hiking yesterday at Cowles Mountain, the highest point in the city of San Diego, to train for my backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon next month.
At the summit I met these two women and they asked me to take a photo of them. Being the photographer I am it ended up being a mini photo session as I asked them to do various poses. After I handed back their iPhone, I said I needed one for my portfolio and I snapped a photo with my iPhone. So here’s the end result!
