In this picture the sea lion has closed his eyes. This is not very common, since they normally swim with their eyes open.

As Chinese New Year is coming very soon, the cherry trees in Taipei start to bloom this weekend. I really want to get closer to the beautiful flowers by shooting the crystal ball.

I think I missed a lot of strikes while the 20D was doing long-exposure noise correction for a while here, so suddenly we go from "thin and distant" lightning strikes to "up close, in your face" over-exposed blasts opening up from the heavens.
