On the heels of House of the Dragon season 1's success, a recent report revealed that another Game of Thrones prequel show, this one adapting Aegon's Conquest, is being actively discussed at HBO. The spinoff series is still in early development without a writer attached, though this hasn't stopped fans from fervently suggesting their favorite casting for the role of Aegon the Conqueror – Henry Cavill.
Soon after the Game of Thrones prequel news surfaced, fans took to Twitter to reignite their campaign to get Cavill cast as Aegon the Conqueror.
