According to the cartoon show "Futurama", Brown University is where the disgusting, despicable mutant beings go to be educated for their menial jobs. Brown University "is the premiere institution of lower learning in the New New York Sewers".
Futurama, of course, is mostly written by Harvard alums. This is from the Season Six episode aired 9/2/10, "The Mutants are Revolting".
Anillo con base regulable color bronce antiguo y pieza de arcilla polimérica acabada en resina cuyo diámetro es 25mm.
Ring with base adjustable of antique bronze finish and polymer clay and resin.
The polymer clay piece has a diameter of 25 mm.
The good old Hypnotoad from Futurama. I kind of want to record the sound he makes and play it behind it.
This whimsical necklace is hand-crafted from .047 aluminum wire woven in the classic Byzantine pattern. Each ring is coiled, cut, and woven by hand, with an internal diameter of 4mm. The necklace measures 18.5 inches overall, terminating in a sturdy magnetic clasp.
The cute robot pendant dangles from a strong central ring of stainless steel.

For the past week, the show of our choice has been Futurama. Our home theater is still waiting for the perfect screen, which should arrive late April.
(The image is obviously a composite from different exposures.)
Adoro esmalte metálico e não estou nem aà pra marca de pincel. Esse cinza esverdeado metálico é bem interessante. Um metálico discreto e diferente.
The car and the skyscraper in the background are roughly the same age.
The skyscraper, Genesee Towers, is abandoned, and is supposedly slated to be imploded in February of next year.
It is sad for me, because growing up in Flint, Genesee Towers, being the tallest building downtown, was always something of a touchstone for me.
I am glad I took this picture during Back to the Bricks 2010.
Downtown Flint, Michigan.

A subset of the cast and crew of the Futurama movie "Beast With a Billion Backs."
Seeing these guys, hearing them talk about the movie, and then seeing it on the big screen is easily one of the most awesome things ever. (Even cooler than running into Felicia Day on the street about ten minutes after the screening ended. Even cooler than seeing Judd Apatow holding court in the movie theater lobby.) DXC introduced them by saying, "Hey, we're here, snubbing Fox Executives to come say THANK YOU for supporting us through the years!" Thank YOU, David and Matt!
From left to right: Eric Kaplan, Peter Avanzino, Maurice LaMarche, David X. Cohen, John DiMaggio, Matt Groening. (Patric Verrone was in the audience, but he didn't introduce the movie.)
Why don't these guys do podcasts of just sitting around chatting?
(I didn't even have tickets to Comic Con -- thanks to Got Futurama the guest list was made available to fans!)
Go buy the movie if you haven't! Or even if you have!
