It has been quite windy here and so I was pretty much forced to snip a few branches to photograph inside. I'm spending most of my day outside cleaning up the gardens and dreaming about future images. In thinking about the quote....this forgiveness thing is so hard to do but it sure lightens the load and the whole world looks different.

Hello everyone, this is the perfect beginning to start clean, I’m starting my project with “Forgive & Forget”. Come on now take all the bad memories you had with a person, maybe several people, & flush them away.

You don’t have a free place in your mind for something already happened and won’t help you anymore, forgive then forget, you are not doing it for them, it’s for your own good,. Once you lay your head in bed you’ll feel much better, Trust me. It might not be easy at first, but then you’ll think how silly that you’ve wasted your time on such a thing. Good Luck!

Though I assume there isn't the faintest connection between the two events, it's is in the same year that the Merchant Shipping Act (1786) sees the light.

Michael, I hope you will forgive me for posting this shot.

It’s just funny how things go at times. I had this shot sitting forever on my computer. I took it at my one and only visit to Flamingo Gardens in February this year. I hadn’t uploaded it previously for reasons we will never know. Then last week I saw Michaels shot and thought: “Hang on a minute… I have ‘the same’ shot.” and figured mine must have been ‘a lousy one’ that I didn’t share it. So I had a look at it again… and it’s not ‘that’ bad, is it?

Comparing mine and Michaels shot makes me wonder: “Are these birds for real?” They didn’t seem to have moved an inch in the last two months.

Oh, I don't know anything about "Moe, Larry & Shemp" so here are the ¡Three Amigos! - Lucky Day, Dusty Bottoms and Ned Nederlander.

This was one of the coolest (sorry, forgive the pun) cosplays I saw at Katsucon. Someone mashed up Elsa from Disney's Frozen with Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.

I kind of gushed on how amazing I thought this cosplayer's idea and execution of her mashup idea went off. She had printed out flexible black snowflakes to wear under her tights which I thought was a great touch.

I used the Elemental Action on her "snowball" and replaced the background with a custom image created in Chaotica Lite.

I honestly have no idea who this cosplayer was/is but damned if I don't want to take more pics of her work down the road.

Watched the trailer for Only God Forgives, now I want to shoot lots of stuff at night with cool lighting in the background.

Always new things to try, a list as long as my arm, but thinking about shooting at night while still trying to fill the frame with color, as little black as possible, maybe try the tunnels downtown again, only with my LED lights, this time.

And this is how it hopefully works, watch movies, watch trailers, read books, read comic books, soak things up, get ideas, go make stuff.

Maybe wondering why? Why should I forgive Mother Nature? She changed this place, forever maybe.

Where the surfer stands now. there were structures, homes, built with love, full of hope and dreams. Why should He forgive?

Really, forgive me for this. I just lost my paint shop pro, and my laptop kept turning off on me, so this got messed up. So I switched to GIMP, for some touch ups. I also had birds and balloons in mind. >< Maybe I'll try again next time. But now I am tired, and Friday, Godspell is going to perform every single block. So I get to stand for 188 minutes Friday. D: Competition is Saturday! Yaaaay!
