Battalion Coastal Hook Exercise
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) conducted a readiness exercise on 2 August 2011. Held at Pulau Sudong, the exercise involved troops from 1st Guards Battalion conducting a battalion coastal hook, supported by elements from the Army, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)
Amid the rumbling sounds of armoured vehicles and gunfire, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) troops and M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers disembarked swiftly from a fleet of fast crafts at the coast and advanced steadily inland. They did this as F-16 fighter aircraft and Apache attack helicopters thundered across the sky simultaneously to provide fire support.
The battalion-level coastal hook operation took place on 2 Aug at Pulau Sudong, an island off the southern coast of Singapore. It saw about 450 soldiers, sailors and airmen work together to recapture the island in a scenario where it had been seized by an enemy force.
The 1st Guards Battalion troops went on to repossess the airstrip located in the centre of the island and receive logistics supplies via a Super Puma helicopter, which was then used to evacuate casualties to the mainland.

After Ireland fully declared independence from the British Crown in 2043 they were in need of a newly orgninsed Armed forces. The Irish Republican Army was corrupt and had abesuoly no order after their long and bloody civil war against England and northern Ireland.
The forces started out as peacekeepers and a home guard for only their country and it's lands, but soon became a global force for good.
In edition they soon joined NATO and formed a treaty between their previous enemies; England and her allies (united states, Germany, France, and Loyalist Russia).
Unfortunately other countries have not been this fortunate. The the middle east has not fared so well the insergency made up of al-quidea and osama bien laden's old supporters have been able to weasel their way into the surrounding governments and wreak havoc from within. Those countries are easy pickings for North Korea, Vietnam and Unnaturalist Russia and her African allies.

The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. It was used by many Allied air forces, in every theater of World War II, as well as many other air forces after the war ended, and saw service across four decades.
The B-25 was named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. The B-25 is the only American military aircraft named after a specific person. By the end of its production, nearly 10,000 B-25s in numerous models had been built. These included a few limited variations, such as the United States Navy's and Marine Corps' PBJ-1 patrol bomber and the United States Army Air Forces' F-10 photo reconnaissance aircraft.

Open water landings and water takeoff training using JATO was also conducted frequently by U.S. Navy HU-16s from locations such as NAS Agana, Guam; Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii; and NAS Pensacola, Florida, among other locations.
