The monster crystal chandelier inside Peter Sheppard Footwear, Collins Street, Melbourne.
I have been fascinated by this thing ever since Peter Sheppard moved to the beautiful 1920s-style building (formerly the headquarters of the National Bank) in 2007. It is massive and eye-catchingly sparkly.
You can see it in context in the gallery here: www.petersheppard.com.au/MelbourneGallery.aspx
I have not been able to find out much about it other than that it is made from full lead Egyptian crystal, and glitters with 14,000 individual crystals. I'd imagine it has been custom-made for the space.
I would have loved to have seen them install it.
Packing up for the big move. I was on the staircase today and noticed my shoes from last night never made it to the closet. There they were sitting on top of a pile of boxes. Perfect set up for todays theme.
A little personal, but I got the idea, and I wanted to run with it.

I ordered some of my photos to hang in the house. New arts! I used to not use my phone every day all the time.
