I enjoyed seeing this A-7 in Fallon, Nevada

Two SB600 flashes, camera right and left @ 1/4 power flagged for no light spill

Prompted by Evan Romine's comment on my original Admiral Fallon post and a comment by the Girlfriend I decided to post this version.

Originally I couldn't decide which version of post processing I liked best so I had the Girlfriend pick. Then a few days ago she saw this montage I had done and said, "I really like that one, you should have posted that one."

Here it is.

Peter Yang's shot of Admiral William Fallon. I got more of the floating head in space look... due the way it was framed in camera... ah well.

Strobist Info: Nikon SB-25 at 1/32 power with a Lumiquest Softbox (don't be fooled it measures 5x7) just out of frame, directly above and slightly in front of me. Triggered via a Pocket Wizard Plus II.

Post Processing Info (from left to right): Converted to B&W via a Gradient Map, OptikVerve's Cyanide Filter, OptikVerve's Satin Filter, Orignal Color Version.

We left Virginia City bound for Ely, NV and ran into this former Southern Pacific station that's now the "Casino Diner."

Shiraz Cabernet 2008. A rather musky, earthy blend.
