Jointly co-organised by UKM and ExxonMobil, the 'FernaRia UKM bersama ExxonMobil' was the outcome of collborative effort of Taman Paku Pakis (aka Fernarium) UKM and several departments of Exxon-Mobil Malaysia (Subsurface Tech Dept, UPD Dept, Geoscience Dept, HR Dept, PA Dept & MOH Dept). Participants are staffs and students of UKM and Exxon-Mobil as well as residents of two orphanages in Bangi area. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Prof Dato Dr Sharifah Hafsah S H Shahabudin
