Located in the community of Batesville in Albemarle County, Virginia, the Plank Road Exchange was previously known as the Batesville Store. The right side of the building houses the area post office. I took this shot while on a drive through the western part of the county on the last mild day before the return of snow and cold temperatures.

The Insurance Exchange Building, formerly known as the Middough Building and the Middough Brothers Building, is a registered historic building located on Broadway in downtown Long Beach, California, USA. The eight-story Beaux Arts building was one of the largest office buildings in downtown Long Beach when it opened in 1925. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
I hope to learn a lot about exchange archiving and the Microsoft Exchange server and this is the machine that will help me.
The Leeds Corn Exchange is a Victorian building which was designed by Cuthbert Brodrick and completed in 1864. The dome design was based on that of the Bourse de commerce of Paris by François-Joseph Bélanger and François Brunet, completed in 1811
In 1985, Speciality Shops plc won the contract to re-develop the Corn Exchange as a shopping centre. The refurbishment designed by Alsop & Lyall restored it and added staircases to allow access to the balcony and basement levels. It opened for trade in 1990. After a further restoration the Corn Exchange re-opened in November 2008 as a boutique shopping centre for independent retailers.

The German part of the exchange was 7–15 March 2014 and the English part was during the first week of April 2014.
28 pupils from St. Mary’s took part in the 28th exchange with our partner school in Germany – the Franziskus Gymnasium Vossenack.
Their time in Germany was spent partly in school but mostly visiting places of interest. These included the cities of Cologne and Aachen as well as the very pretty and historic town of Monschau. As always the pupils were in awe of the architecture of Cologne and Aachen and in particular their very contrasting cathedrals. The visit to the Schokoladenmuseum in Cologne and shopping were, needless to say, also popular events in the week. A visit to a museum in Vossenack with a talk given by a local historian helped our pupils appreciate the circumstances surrounding a famous battle in the Second World War which took place in and around Vossenack itself – the Battle of Hürtgenwald in the autumn of 1944.
As is always the case, our pupils were very well looked after by their host families and also got on with their partners very well. The return visit of the Germans which was at the end of March was eagerly awaited by our pupils who in turn, with their families, ensured that the German pupils really enjoyed their stay in England.
Both schools are extremely grateful to the parents of their pupils whose help and kindness towards their guests have, since the exchange began in 1987, played a huge and vital part in the success of this very valuable educational experience which helps pupils appreciate the culture of the country, learn its language and build friendships which can last for ever.

U.S. exchanges in the United Kingdom date back to World War I. Civilian agencies, such as the YMCA, operated the exchanges wherever U.S. forces were located in the UK.
The first exchange in the United Kingdom during World War II opened in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1942 for the first U.S. forces arriving on the continent. Openings of other post exchanges throughout England followed.
Today, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service still operates stores at military installations throughout the United Kingdom.

Corn Exchange, Kings Lynn. The facade of the 1854 building was retained in the 1996 rebuild of the hall and is grade 2 listed. It was designed by Cruso & Maberley. Inside other elements of the original were rescued and reused in the rebuild.

Spent a weekend on Angel Island State Park visiting some of the historical sites. This Tile is set in the floor of the Post Exchange. For 1910, when the building was erected, it is quite interesting.

"Pop, Rock, Classical Music, Dance, Comedy and more: The stellar list of Corn Exchange performers. Over the years the Corn Exchange has brought some of the biggest, most exciting, popular and inspiring names in music, comedy and dance to Cambridge.
A pre-stardom (and Ziggy Stardust-dom) David Bowie appeared with his band The Buzz in 1966, followed three years later in March 1969 by The Who. Queen spread some of their glam sparkle over the venue in 1974, while the following year saw the distinctly more prosaic pub-rock of Dr Feelgood. Take That – first time around – made fans swoon in November 1992, contrasting with Britpop stars Oasis, who played in 1994. Acclaimed company Theatre de Complicité brought their production of The Caucasian Chalk Circle to delight theatre goers in 1997, while Eddie Izzard’s surrealistic stand-up arrived the same year. In the audience for Eddie’s show was Jimmy Carr – then a student in the city – at his first ever comedy show. This was to go on to inspire him in his own career, and he has now appeared at the Corn Exchange 25 times himself!
Dance fans have been well served by the venue too. The Royal Ballet performed in December 1997, with Darcey Bussell appearing two years later in Dance Bites. The late 90s also saw an appearance from quirky Icelandic superstar Bjork (1998), one of the last appearances by Ian Dury of Blockheads fame, in 1999 just a year before his death, and a wonderful performance by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in April. 1999. They returned in March of the following year, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.
The 21st century saw appearances from old musical legends like Van Morrison, Chuck Berry and John Martyn, as well as young upstarts like Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. More of the biggest names in comedy continued to play Cambridge, with both Lenny Henry and Russell Brand starring in 2007. Bands that were booked for the following year included The Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Primal Scream, while pop fans were well-served by the likes of Sugababes. The venue had quite a coup in 2010, when Radiohead’s Thom Yorke chose the Corn Exchange for a one-off solo show, to raise money for the Green party."

On the icy crust of Jupiter's moon Europa, Webb has discovered carbon dioxide that likely originated in the liquid water ocean below. The carbon dioxide was found to be most abundant in an area called Tara Regio, where there is evidence of material exchanging between Europa’s internal ocean and its crust. Carbon dioxide isn’t stable on Europa’s surface, so scientists believe it was deposited fairly recently, geologically speaking. Understanding the chemistry of this ocean could help determine if it is a good place for life as we know it.
Webb builds off Juno, Galileo, New Horizons and other spacecraft who have taken close-ups of Europa. In Oct. 2024, NASA plans to launch the Europa Clipper mission, which will perform dozens of close flybys of Europa to further investigate if it could have conditions for life.
