"Yo quiero que a mí me entierren
como a mis antepasados.
En el vientre oscuro y fresco
De una vasija de barro"
"De ti nací y a ti vuelvo,
arcilla, vaso de barro.
Con mi muerte vuelvo a ti,
a tu polvo enamorado."
Cancion sudamericana.
I feel my spiritual significant being once insignificant with nature... the mystic and eternal self.

Hope Springs Eternal
An angel'âs loving hand directs a rainbow of hope towards a fertile and beautiful earth, and like a bulb in spring life bursts forth â another gem in the vast garden of the universe.
"WHAT language is thine, O sea?"
"The language of eternal question."
"What language is thy answer, O sky?
"The language of eternal silence."
------ Rabindranath Tagore

...with most of my photographs, the subject appears as a found object, something discovered, not arranged by me. I usually have an immediate recognition of the potential image, and I have found that too much concern about matters such as conventional composition may take the edge off the first inclusive reaction. ~ Ansel Adams
P.S. non-HDR.
I was at a congress in Rome; the programme was very intense, so I had time to capture the beauty of the eternal City only by night...
I have successfully experimented a 5 shots exposure bracketing here, though nominally my Nikon D5100 doesn't allow it. Had I thought of this trick before...!

One day - maybe tomorrow, maybe in a million years - even the most eternal feeling things will be gone. What a sweet ilusion 'forever' is. So hold on to the moment that is now, because it is all we ever really have. ⏳
Fun fact: shooting this definitely did not take an eternity - security caught me climbing the stones and called me off before I even got started properly 😅 #oops
“The best images are the ones that retain their strength and impact over the years, regardless of the number of times they are viewed.” – Anne Geddes

An image can elicit powerful emotions and a sense of connection. They can also be reminders of a wondrous long life lived.
This collaborative creation was lovingly made with Romeo. It culminated in an exchange of generous amounts of chicken cookies for hundreds of air defying leaps through a tiny portal over a period of several days. The ring of fire was the only artificial element later added to complete the final vision. The encapsulated stories behind the powerful masterpiece evoke a visceral array of emotions every day I see it on my wall.
This remarkably stunning photo also symbolises the many facets of his life intertwined with my own. Romeo was a fire that burned bright. People felt compelled to gravitate towards him and felt his incredible warmth. It still continues to burn strongly through the stories shared honouring this beautiful cat’s life.
It’s been one year today since he left this earthly realm. There’s been a lot of quiet reflection on Romeo’s life and what he meant to me. I wanted to select something extraordinary to represent what he meant to us all. A fire burning brightly for eternity.

Another view from the large Mönchsjoch Hut (Mönchsjochhütte in German), a mountain hut located at the end of the col between the Jungfrau and Mönch mountains in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.
Taken at the same time as "A Long Solitary Walk", this image shows how vast this particular stretch of ice and snow is on the Ewigschneefäld Glacier (the "eternal snow field"), which continues further out of sight to the right; the four people in the middle shows the scale.

The California coast offers some of the most beautiful places to photograph. I got lucky this past weekend and was fortunate to capture some of natures beauty at McWay Falls.
