Pattern: Embossed Leaves by Mona Schmidt, from book Favorite Socks

Yarn: Novita Nalle, 100g pink

Needle: 2.5mm

Kraft paper card base, resist ink embossed

I tried to take a picture from the side to show the embossment. Printed with an etching press onto stonehenge paper.

Used #newtonsnook Made From Scratch stamp set; #SSSFAVE Stitched Rectangles and Nadine Snowflake dies.

These were supposed to be for me but my husband assumed that they were his when he saw them and he's worn them ever since. They ended up fitting him better anyway.

The other photo of the card doesn't show that the embossing very well. I used copper embossing powder by SU!

I embossed the card base with white embossing powder. I stamped the sunflower stamp from Strawberry Jude Stamps on the top panel and colored it with Zig markers. Then I stamped the sunflower on a piece of vellum with a Versamark sticky clear ink pad. The image was sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat set with a heat gun. I trimmed around the sunflower on vellum and adhered it to the card panel with a tape runner on the parts that had heavy embossed areas so the tape couldn't be seen.

Another old Christmas card, trimmed, glued to bllue cardstock, trimmed in red ribbon (experimenting again) covered in sparkled tulle, embellished with silver stars.

This was created by using embossing, but in two ways. The one that sticks up is the one created by the cardboard cut out stuck on to more cardboard, however the one caving in was created by the gap made by the safety pin cut-out.

This was for my London diversity project.
