I'll replace this shot when I get farther along, I thought the rivets on the smokebox were worthy of an in-progress shot. The stack and smokebox are only set in place without being bolted tight. The rivets are embossed on a 0.012" thick brass jacket.

I was at a Craft Demo on Saturday and when the lady was talking about embossing I piped up that I don't have a heat gun but use Perfect Pearls and 'set' it with hairspray, to which the very clever lady said, "try using your toaster", So I did, and as you can see from the above card, it worked!! Oh, happy dancing ensued I can tell you, lol. This is my first 'serious' use, (I'd already tested it on some text), but I have done some other pieces, 'just cos I can' lol. I never thought of a toaster as being multi-functional before, hehe
I've entered this into the challenge set by Jenn in her 'Artists Play Room, www.justaddwatersilly.com/2012/09/artists-play-room-28.html, where she challenges you to do something you've been wanting to do but haven't, or something you're a little scared to try. Always a great place to find a challenge, why don't you pop over and have a look at some amazing art and why not join in for a challenge? I dare you...:0) xx

My first attempt at embossed cookies. I hate how the pictures turned out, but overall a very neat, cute way to decorate cookies.
