A long view from back towards the front. It made me recall one dark night when all the lights were out and me and PC were in a ramp patrol truck driving around drinking beers and listening to Deep Purple on a cassette player (smoke on the water) and all of a sudden he yelled "hit da fuckin brakes!" I just did it and he hit the dash and I hit the steering wheel. I asked him what his fuckin problem was and he started laughing, and got out. I did too and I was shocked to find we were under the wing of a B-52! It was parked on a side taxiway and it was so dark I didn't even see it as I was driving under it and almost ran into it. That was a real wake up call as to how dangerous it was. We'd snuck off to a snack bar and got a few six packs of beer to drink and drive around the flightline with and it sure would have been bad news for us if I'd hit the Buff and had all our beers in the truck with us. We did lots of stupid things back then...but it was fun.
