Mrs. Catherine Bearder [ALDE MEP]

Part of the testing process for an energy efficiency retrofit. Close windows and doors, install this thing in one doorway, turn on the big fan in the bottom of it, and measure air throughput.

Turns out we had the third leakiest house they'd ever measured. Go team!

Efficiency Nova Scotia is the first utility in Canada that exclusively sells energy efficiency (so-called negawatts) into the grid. Saving energy costs one quarter of the price of generating new energy in Nova Scotia and returns $110 million dollars into the hands of Nova Scotia residents and businesses. You've seen how the Ip Man Movie have sparks the growth of Wing Chun Kung Fu worldwide. Now learn how to use Wing Chun techniques using HKB Eng Chun [Black Flag Wing Chun] to achieve maximum efficiency of time, space and energy, from this Wing Chun Video.

In this Wing Chun Training video, Grand Master Kenneth Lin demonstrates how to use the HKB Wing Chun Combat Formula [Originated from late GM Kwee King Yang's teaching of Kao Kuat / 口訣] to achieve the maximum combat efficiency using the basic Wing Chun Bong Sao Technique [Bong Jiu / 膀手] both in deflecting as well as in Occupying time, becoming space and releasing an impulse energy.

Many times, in most Wing Chun mainstream lineage, focusing using offense as defense. In this video, Grand Master Kenneth Lin demonstrated how to achieve maximum efficiency using HKB Combat formula on applying that offense as defense idea.

Note: Within this video, GM Kenneth Lin made a comparison between the common use Wing Chun Bong Sao [膀手] from mainstream Wing Chun and showcase the Black Flag Wing Chun perspective of Bong Jiu / 膀手 [Bong Sao]. Please be noted that this does not mean one is better or less than another, it should be up to you to decide which fit you the most.

Black Flag Wing Chun training methodology makes it possible for you to use Wing Chun in full contact vs. Systema, vs. Taichi, vs. Taekwondo, vs. Kenpo, vs. Ninjutsu, vs. BJJ, vs. Muay Thai, vs. karate, vs. boxing, vs. any styles!

Available in Black Flag Wing Chun Schools: USA [California & Virginia], UK [Devon], Germany [Saarbrucken], Italy [Roma, Genova, Savona, Livorno, Torino, Novara] and HKB Wing Chun online university. www.hekkiboen.com/worldwide-schools/

Rwanda’s Ministry of Environment, UN Environment through the Ozone Secretariat and United for Efficiency, and the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program have hosted a group of environmental experts, philanthropists, business leaders, international NGOs and government representatives to mark the adoption of the Amendment and strategies to ensure its long term success. The event took place on 28 January 2019 at the Marriott Hotel, Kigali. The event recognised the work Rwanda has done to meet its obligations under the Kigali Amendment. These efforts, which have been possible thanks to the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program and UN Environment's United for Efficiency, include conducting a market assessment, developing a national cooling strategy and minimum energy efficiency standards, and creating financial tools to support businesses to invest in efficient cooling.

This session saw city leaders pitch project proposals to financial institutional leaders with finance mechanisms that could be leveraged by cities or building owners seeking investments in building efficiency.

In these days of difficulty in securing domestic servants, mistresses

will accept almost any sort of help, but there are limits. A woman

interrogated a husky girl in an employment office, who was a recent

importation from Lapland. The dialogue was as follows:

"Can you do fancy cooking?"

"Naw."

"Can you do plain cooking?"

"Naw."

"Can you sew?"

"Naw."

"Can you do general housework?"

"Naw."

"Make the beds, wash the dishes?"

"Naw."

"Well," cried the woman in puzzled exasperation, "what can you do?"

"I milk reindeer."

Can you see where the caulk is? It is clear and very inconspicuous.

September 25, 2019 -Daniel Simmons, Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) announces the 15 winners of Phase 1 of the DOE Battery Recycling Prize, a $67,000 prize that aims to reclaim and recycle critical materials (e.g., cobalt and lithium) from lithium-based battery technology. For a total of $1 million in prizes, these projects focus on cost-effective recycling processes to recover as much economic value as possible from spent lithium-ion batteries.
