Dear Fall,
Stay. Don't go. Don't take your colorful leaves and crisp air and leave us with bare trees and cold, grey days. I am not ready to wear gloves (or have to find 2 matching gloves!), scrape windshields and shovel snow and be COLD.... always cold! Please stay.

I was walking up this hill with beautiful light in front of me, the sky indicating there was drama in the air. Then these strangers arrived on the scene and performed a play... Jacques Brel soundtrack.....
It has been a while since I opened Photoshop, I've enjoyed presenting "pure & clean" (well not quite) photography only processed in Lightroom. This one invited me to do something else, somewhat inspired by the "movie challenge" between two most talented flickr contacts - Maria and Frank

Ahh it's been a manic day with the move half done. We sold everything we're not keeping today so the flat is looking rather empty!
He leaves in 2 days :( it's so sad, can't believe my best friend and partner of over 3 years is moving thousands of miles away and I won't see him for atleast 6 months. It's heart breaking, but it's a too good of opportunity not to let him go.
I will miss him more than I can even begin to imagine.

I really liked shooting the other day. The whole atmosphere was eerie and kind of haunting. In this shot it looks like the branches from the tree still standing are reaching out and grabbing onto the branches that have fallen. There's something sad and lovely about it.
My traditional "Goodbye" photo has come across some sort of divide by zero error.

These short eared owls don't always come every year ( there were none last winter ) and that combined with the fact that they could be gone at any moment is why I'm making the most of them right now ! I just hope they don't run out of voles and move on..............

Before, as you might already know, i used to feel imensly alone, i was depressed, i felt like i didnt care to the world...Now however, i am soo happy! i couldnt wish for better friends, and i love them all to bits!!

so, today, me and carmen went to get some photos developed to put them in an album for when iryna leaves (tuesday) =( we had a walk...had ice cream =) and then cookies =)

I took this the other day when we went for a walk... I personally like the focus and the feel it gives of lonliness...
(by the way, last year they specifically said in one of ther pubs "please take lots of pics"..now he just said for first time, "please no cams" (inside theatre) ...(surprise appearance by actor erik estrada in "Inspector Sanchez"4/2/11 NOTES FROM FINAL SESSION 2, 168 FILM FEST, ALEX THEATRE, GLENDALE, CA 120-3pm; .good 2nd session of films...here's some of the verbatim..
