An evergreen, epiphytic orchid with one narrow, elliptic leaf (to 12 inches). Two rows of fragrant flowers appear on distinctive, chain-like racemes. Photographed in the Peter Black Conservatory, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

These four successive photos show the growth of this wonderful plant from 2010 to 2016. It got a CCM/AOS cultural award in 2012 but is now several times larger, thanks to Cindy's excellent care.
