This delorean was shipped all the way from california to maryland because my dad's friend, charlie heyda, bought it. It was the coolest car i've ever seen and it was the first time I've ever got to sit inside a delorean. Mr. heyda drove it to my neighborhood to show us the car.
I wish I had this car in theory, but in reality, it's probably a bit of a lemon from what I hear. And impossible to keep the stainless steel exterior clean and free of fingerprints.

Interesting find in the parking lot of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Immortalized by the "Back to the Future" films, this stainless-steel-bodied gullwing-door machine was John Z. DeLorean's effort at building his own sports car, pitched at the Porsches and Corvettes of the day. Construction was undertaken in Belfast on the back of British government grants. Unfortunately the whole project came tumbling down after just a few years with DeLorean himself involved in an FBI drug sting.
