DeLorean Speeder built for #speedermashup hosted by @rebel.p.u.n.k on Instagram to celebrate 2500 followers! I designed this in Bricklink stud.io over two days. Every part exists irl and if I've done my homework should be buildable. I'm planning on ordering some parts and giving it a shot.
An odd sight in the West Midlands. I've spotted this car a few times but only managed to catch it parked this one time.
Imported from the US in 2000, it had done barely 18k miles at its last MOT.
Hi everybody!
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film back to the future , I have decided to upgrade my delorean with neon wire.
The effect is really great and the wire fits to perfection with lego clips.
The dole of exposure visitor returns are very good .
The picture quality is not great, but it's hard to photograph a neon with sunlight .

Covers a very rare 1981 Delorean DMC that was at the show. Not many of these are in Australia, and were never sold here.
Taken at Marong Federation Picnic Car Show, Victoria in 2018.

Here's a small car I made a while back. I was pretty happy with how it turned out, in spite of the bungling edit, but for all that I'm not a car builder, and so there are no doubt some big flaws. Any comments would be appreciated!
Practicing for Back To The Future methinks....
On the subject of opening up new possibilities, my wife underwent knee replacement surgery a few days ago and I have become a full-time carer to assist in her recovery back at home.
It's more demanding than I anticipated, however, the post operation care and support is vital to her regaining fluid mobility and the promise of a brighter, pain free future. And that's just one leg, as there is still number two in x months time.
For now, when time permits, I shall just be trawling through my archives looking for 'failures' that can be given a new lease of life - just like my wife's arthritic knees!
With all Good Wishes and a Merry Christmas to One and All!
Kind Regards,
Pete
Instructions for the DeLorean Time Machine are up on Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-49929/Flashback_Bricks/delorean-...
This six-stud wide, City-scale car holds one minifigure and is packed with details like:
-Opening gull-wing doors
-Flux capacitor
-Time circuits display
-Time circuits keypad
-Time circuits on/off switch
-Speedometer
-Plutonium chamber warning light
Not to mention that the modular wheel sets allow you to quickly swap out standard, hover, or 1950s styling. The hood easily rebuilds to accommodate an external circuit board. And the rear section can be augmented with either a lightning rod or Mr. Fusion.
