Attempting to pay homage to Brett Northcutt's beautiful concept image of Vader meeting Krennic. My version is nowhere near as epic but fun as hell to set up and play with the lighting.

I'll post a photo of the setup later today. I used baking paper behind Vader to diffuse the lights.

This is a higher angle pic to capture Vader's reflection. The previous photo is lower down and suits the source image a bit better but loses most of the cool reflection onto the tiles.

What would the Star Wars story, characters, vehicles, etc look like if the movies came out today? Here's my version of Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers.

Apparently these domed sections are tapering slightly so they become thinner near their edge. This is achieved here by slightly sloping down the curved sections and attaching them to the center stack assembly.

This is a build commisioned for Brickvault and instructions are available at brickvault.toys

Sundays are for chilling out and relaxing in a nice warm bath.

Last shot of this mini story, to reveal that it was Sintas Vel (who I had in a few scenes without helmet as well and still not sure if she's a Legend or Star Wars canon) who told Vader about the DEMP smuggler.

This one was fun to make. Started with standard 4x1 layout, but later went to custom, having a few *facepalms* why I haven't done that before.
