City Fusion and Brighter Futures are commissioned annually, by St. Patrick’s Festival, to engage with groups and communities, from a variety of backgrounds, to work together alongside professional artists, to create and stage two large scale pageants for the Festival parade.
Every year, the project begins anew with fresh themes, original designs and ambitious plans. The participants work with a team of professional choreographers and facilitators, taking part in a series of workshops where they are immersed in the creative process, learning skills in performance, theatre, street performance, dance and circus.
CITY FUSION 2016 (adult group participants): Alma Boliviana Ballet, Creative Steps, DCU Japanese Society, Filipino Cultural Organisation of Ireland, Lithuanian Association in Ireland, St. John of God Community Services, Liffey Region, Brazilian Samba Dance Community Group.

A former Go-Ahead Metrobus vehicle based at Orpington (MB) until 14th January this year when it went to London Central at New Cross (NX). However, its stay at NX was short-lived only working there between 10th and 18th February. The following day it entered service with Blue Triangle at River Road (RR) where it still remains in late November working mainly on routes 104 and 304 although it still appears on the 5 occasionally.
