the metering on the dial 35 is not exceptional. ae lock is impossible. exposure compensation is impossible without making note of the auto reading, switching to manual mode, and compensating accordingly. all in all not a huge deal, at least there is an auto for quick, blind street snaps. this one was well underexposed, usable, but only with a pretty intense kick in contrast.
test roll for canon dial 35 2… unfortunately i didn't bulk load it quite right, it tore off the spindle, which explained quite nicely why the rewind was being odd. unfortunately i came to this realization when i got impatient and opened the camera in a coffee shop, fogging up a bit of the roll. win some, lose some!

Photo taken in sunshine, right after the rain, looking at the dark cloud that has just passed by. Notice the blue sky reflected in the windows.
This yellow butterfly had such a strong contrast, which was amplified by the sun hitting straight at those beautful wings, i cant get over how pretty those wings are.
There's a few others in this series which I will add later, but this is by far my favorite.
Taken of a carnation from a mothers day bouqet I bought my mom. :)
