Confluence Point
Over the air-space of Jammu, saw this sangam (confluence point) of meandering rivers, The snap is hazy b'coz of the clouds..:-(

I just can't seem to resist this shot
Holding position for an upstream lock on the Mississippi.
Rivers like these are why I chuckle when on road trips and see signs for "Backwoods River" and it's nothing more than a trickle. THESE are rivers.
This Missouri River is to the right, flowing into the Mississippi River on the left
Just so you can keep straight which river happens to be which.
