Purpose: The Health Indicators Unit needed a method to support a way to deliver an interactive report of key health indicators allowing county-level comparisons.
"InstantAtlas is an excellent tool for presenting county-level data in a very concise way with options for interactive analysis. The County Profile contains the key indicators needed to quickly assess the overall health situation in each county. InstantAtlas enables the user to see indicator values for individual counties as well as make county-to-county comparisons and to the state averages. Using InstantAtlas for the presentation of health information will significantly simplify and enhance the use of our indicators." Dr. Wolfgang Hellmeier, Head of Health Indicators Unit, LIGA.

Purpose: The initial driver for ‘Stockport Profiling Live’ was the need to support a wide range of area profile reports at different geographic levels from a single data store. These reports had to be available widely across the organisation and, via their secure extranet, to partners.
"The value of the application [Stockport Profiling Live] has proved very high for the delivery of dynamic area profiles to replace our paper-based snapshots. It allows us to share data securely amongst our partners and provide detailed socio-economic breakdowns of our communities, both specified in the Audit Commission’s Key Lines of Enquiry. To mark Peace One Day, they had invited children from a local school to help them decommission their toy guns and create mini works of art that were attached to balloons and released to spread their messages of peace. Purpose: Community Accounts is an innovative information system providing users at all levels with a reliable source of community, regional, and provincial data. It provides a public-wide, online system for locating, sharing and exchanging information related to the province and its people. InstantAtlas is used as the Dynamic Data Map Tool within this system.
