Commanders of various Fighter Groups catch up and discuss the progress of the air campaign over Europe in front P-51D Mustang ' Miss Helen ' .

This Mustang is a genuine combat veteran and still wears the same paint scheme as she did in 1944-45 when being flown by Capt Raymond Littge of the 352nd Fighter Group, the "Blue Nosed Bastard's of Bodney"

1955 Studebaker Commander

I LOVE this car. LOVE it.

Meet Spec Ops Commander Hammer Sharks! As you have probably guessed, he is a hammerhead shark that can actually walk and eliminate assigned targets with his harpoon rifle. His special swimsuit with a life support system allows him to stay outside water for hours. Don't let his smile charm you cause it will be the last thing you see before you die!

This is a scarce species and I was very happy and surprised when it gave me the chance of a few frames this morning.

This is an image of the Freight House in downtown Stillwater. I love how the Commander building in the distance looks like a ghost.

It is a 3 exposure image that I first processed with photomatix. I then brought it into photoshop and pretty much applied all sorts of effects: shadows, highlights, contrast, curves, warming filter, ttv layer, blurred edges, holga and lomo.

I learned to drive on a car just like this. A 1953 Studebaker Commander. I have always thought it was one of the most beautiful cars in the world. It was stick shift and so much fun to drive.

The GI Joe Adventure Team is sent to Quartz Canyon Colorado to investigate some mysterious Indian Petroglyphs. The Adventure Team Commander examines the strange images in the rock. They have a almost alien look to them. He wonders if the "Intruders" have been in this area sometime in the past.

In 1974 I went to work for Frank Lotz Miller photography studio. Frank was the leading architectural-commercial photographer in the greater New Orleans and Louisiana area. We did this photo for Commanders Palace that was used for many years as their main publicity photo. Frank brought me with him when he took the shot. Notice in the accompanying image there is a large, ugly utility pole with power lines on the corner. Removing the pole would have been easy in Photoshop but this was way before the age of digital images. Anyone care to guess how it was removed?

Credit to the decals goes to MLD 100 Customs. It's really sad he had to take down all of his decals because people wouldn't give him credit. I had this decal saved on my computer before he took all the decals off. The arms legs and helmet are painted by me. Sorry that it appears to be grain. I was trying out some speacial effects.

HMS Suprise - 24 gun British Frigate. The ship was used in the 2003 movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.

From Wikipedia:

HMS Surprise is a modern tall ship, built at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada as Rose in 1970 to a Phil Bolger design based on the original 18th-century British Admiralty drawings. She is a replica of HMS Rose, a 20 gun sixth-rate frigate built in 1757.

The ship was inspected and certified by the United States Coast Guard and operated as a sail training vessel in the 1980s and 1990s, run by the HMS Rose Foundation based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States. Although she is known by the national prefix HMS, meaning Her (or His) Majesty's Ship, she is not technically entitled to it as she does not hold a royal warrant.

She was sold to the 20th Century Fox film studio in 2001 to be used in the making of the film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, in which she portrayed the Royal Navy frigate Surprise with a story based on several of the books by Patrick O'Brian. After the film was complete, the ship was leased and then purchased by the Maritime Museum of San Diego which has restored her to sailing condition as of September 2007. The ship has officially been reregistered as HMS Surprise in honour of her role in the film. She sails several times a year, often with the museum's other tall ships, the schooner Californian and the 1863 barque Star of India. In 2010, she portrayed HMS Providence in the Disney adventure film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Here is one of the most beautiful Blue Heron's I have ever seen! I called him "Commander Blue" because he is just riding that log around the Lily Pond keeping an eye out for everything and everyone!

The Lily Pond is located inside Mill Creek Park located in Youngstown, Ohio.
