. To overcome the difficulties of science and math, explanation in classes, innovator Panda has created few thousands of educational, societal and scientific innovations which helps teachers and students of the country and abroad.

Dr. Panda believes that though inventions/innovation has reached under thousands and thousands deep in the sea and high up in the space. It has reached on moon and mars, but unfortunately the sustainable inventions/innovation has not properly gone to the tiny tots and common people.

Dr. Panda is amazing and wizard of innovations and works with a principle the real scientist is he, who sees the things simply and works high.

Brainstorming & Collaborative Session of MCHIP, USAID &Rotary Club of Greek, Sep 23, 2014

Thousands of women and newborns in Pakistan die each year as a result of preventable complications of pregnancy and childbirth. Pakistan’s maternal mortality ratio at 276 per 100,000 live births (2006-2007 Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey) is one of the highest in South Asia. Most of these deaths can be prevented if there were enough properly trained, competent and supported midwives working in the communities and in a functional health system.

The Maternal & Child health Integrated Program (MCHIP) along with program partner USAID and event partners Rotary Clubs of R.I district 3271 met on 20 September 2014 for a brainstorming and collaborative event. There were presentations on the importance of support for midwives in the community, challenges faced by maternal and child health and efforts that can be undertaken by corporate partners in improving quality of maternal and child health practice in Pakistan. The brainstorming session focused on supporting community midwives, improvement of quality of mother and child health services and a dire need for community distribution of misoprostol and chlorhexidine.

Held at a Marriott hotel karachi, the session’s audience had over 70 participants and included doctors, obstetricians, businessmen and philanthropists. During the event; Shaan Technologies private Limited, corporate partners with MCHIP/Jhpiego presented a documentary video about application of solar energy for remote clinics. Shaantech also donated 10 solar LED lamps for community midwives.

I am building a ‘maker art cart’ to display the work of our students and creative collaborators. This cart will first be used to showcase the City of the Future we will be creating with lower and middle-school students this spring, during our weekly maker art classes. I made the 3D models in this set with Sketchup, to visualize this cart in detail before starting construction.

I am working with my co-instructor Geo Monley on this project, in his wonderful is woodworking workshop at Tam High School in Mill Valley. Today, he gave me a big hand to build the shelves that will support the wonderboxes and city landscape. He also showed me an animatronics city called Makerfield, which his high school students are now building.

Geo and I plan to develop a public makerspace around his wood shop at Tam High and grow a community through a combination of maker classes and open hours for adults and teens. More on this later.

Residents of Thomasboro engaged with community agencies during a collaborative event that brought people together to share food, fun, and educational resources benefiting childhood development and economic opportunity. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library provided information on learning programs such as Summer Break and Active Reading; access to educational resources through ONE Access and live homework help; resources on continuing education; hands-on technology and literacy for teens; book giveaways; and storytelling through friend of the Library, Ramona Big Eagle. BBQ was provided by Noble Smoke, and music by artists JustHIS League. Games and face painting were also among fun activities for kids.

Giving hope and transformation for Charlotte’s most at-risk neighborhoods, Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center sponsored the event as a part of their Adopt-A-Block kickoff, which seeks to connect with residents through faith-based outreach.

-------------------------------------------

★What IS THE INTERNATIONAL FIBER COLLABORATIVE?

As the leading voice for collaborative public art projects around the world, the International Fiber Collaborative is dedicated to promoting understanding and appreciation of contemporary art & craft through educational experiences. We are committed to developing vital education programs that elevate, expand, modernize and enhance the image of collaboration and education today.

★WHAT IS THE DREAM ROCKET PROJECT?

The Dream Rocket Team is collecting nearly 8,000 artworks from participants around the globe. The artwork will be assembled together to create a massive cover in which will wrap a 37 story Saturn V Moon Rocket at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. We will also be displaying submitted artwork in dozens of national venues prior to the wrapping of the Saturn V. Additionally, we are posting images of submitted artwork & their stories on our Website, Flickr, and Facebook. The Dream Rocket project uses the Saturn V Moon Rocket as a symbolism of universal values of the human spirit. Optimism, hope,

caring for our natural resources, scientific exploration, and harnessing technological advancements for a better quality of life while safeguarding our communities, are all common desires across national and international boundaries. Participants are able to express and learn about these values through this creative collaboration. With the completion of each artwork, participants are asked to write an essay explaining their artwork, and the dream theme in which they chose.

★How can I Participate & Have my Artwork Displayed?

The Dream Rocket project would like to challenge you to ‘Dare to Dream’. To dream about your future and the future of our world through dream themes such as health, community, conservation, science, technology, space, peace, and so on. We would like you to use your selected Dream Theme to express, explore, and create your vision on your section of the wrap. We hope that you are able to express and learn through this creative collaboration. With the completion of each artwork, you are asked to write a brief essay explaining your artwork, and the dream theme in which you chose.

“The Saturn V is the ideal icon to represent a big dream. This rocket was designed and built as a collaboration of nearly half-a-million people and allowed our human species to venture beyond our world and stand on ANOTHER - SURELY one of the biggest dreams of all time. ENABLING THE DREAMS of young people to touch this mighty rocket sends a powerful message in conjunction with creating an educational curriculum to engage students to embrace the power of learning through many important subjects”

-Neil deGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium, New York

★I VALUE THE ARTS!!!!

The International Fiber Collaborative is able to share the power of a collaboration and art, thanks to the support of generous individual donors. Jasmine Jones, an assistant professor of computer science at Berea College in Kentucky, center, focuses intently on day four of the Distributed Teaching Collaborative Summer Session in the Ford Motor Company Robotics Building on the North Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Sitting in front of her wearing a Morehouse shirt is student Khari Rivers.

Participants from Berea College, Howard University, Kennesaw State University, and Morehouse College spent the final week of June at the University of Michigan College of Engineering Robotics Department participating in the Distributed Teaching Collaborative Summer Session in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The program, which began with the new Robotics 101 course in Fall 2020 being remotely taught to Morehouse and Spelman College students, enables instructors from different institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), to benefit from open-source resources available for new course development at R1 institutions. This collaboration provides students from HBCUs and MSIs with access to cutting-edge robotics education and helps promote equity in STEM fields.

In March of this year Robotics PhD student Jana Pavlasek and Professor Chad Jenkins were awarded the Claudia Joan Alexander Trailblazer Award for their work developing the new course for undergraduate students, Rob 102: Introduction to AI and Programming. Their commitment to creating opportunity in AI and Robotics continues to extend beyond the University of Michigan. In Fall 2023, Robotics 102 will be offered in this collaborative distributed format to the partner schools. This initiative will help to provide equitable opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to learn and grow in the field of robotics.

It came in the mail yesterday. I've sorted all the orders and they will goto the post office tomorrow >:-)))

I wonder how true these stats are; when I walk around outside I don't see big colored hexagons
