Another shot of Eeyore in a refraction. That is one of my favorite Eeyore coffee mugs that I just discovered has a CRACK down the center inside!! =-(

My mom gave me this mug about twenty years ago and it contains good memories.

With a coffee mug, you can pretty much put it on something and it would be considered normal. However, I think is is not normal to put the coffee mug filled with something hot on a snow bank.

Love my beautiful coffee mug from Peppa Studio. :)

Before I forget, it's hand-drawn, hand painted and handmade ... same with all of Peppa's ceramics. :)

"Hang on Until Weekend" is emblazoned on this great 1980s mug. Only three days to go!

Got this nice gift from Blue Moon today. I made a donation to their mural project a while back and this was their wonderful way of saying thank you.

This is the front of the mug descibed below.

Isn't she adorable? She looks like she could be a child from an intentional community—or what we used to call a hippie commune, back in the day. ;o)

Testing a pair of triangular rollers by placing a board and a coffee mug on them and pushing the board sideways. Blending multiple exposures illustrates the resulting motion.

A curve of constant width is a two-dimensional shape whose width, as measured with calipers, is the same, regardless of the orientation of the curve relative to the calipers. You can extrude such a curve into a three-dimensional roller that will have a constant height as you roll it around on a flat surface. A board supported by a pair of such rollers will move horizontally without any up and down motion. A circle is a curve of constant width, but it's not the only one; there are many others. A Reuleaux triangle (an equilateral triangle where each side is a circular arc centered on the opposite corner) also has constant width, and you can use it as the basis for rollers that look like they shouldn’t work at all. Inspired by my daughter's high school project I made an example out of wood.

White, ceramic coffee mug with a shamrock on it. Someone didn't want it so they took it to Kent Recycle Center in Carmel, New York and it can be yours free!

can't focus on work further, so decided to flickr... miss all my flickr friends as I usually upload & disappear.

Am working on a report now & can't do it without my Starbucks.

Used a series of apps for this shot:

- iPhone camera

- Photogene

- FocalLab

- FilterFX

This is my first ink pen attempt at drawing actual hands.

The other day when I saw a fragile, very old man holding his mug with both hands, I thought of a poem I'd written a coupla years ago (for Vets of the Korean War).

I thought of this idea while working on my teacup pouches...because not everyone drinks tea!!! I even made the polymer clay coffee bean beads for the zipper pulls!

can't believe that i have held onto this mug for a whole decade+. i suppose that might be the kiss of death for it, tho, to admit that.

for slider sunday-- making a colorful thing look aged. (still babysteps in the PP but getting a bit braver.)

for the ODC topic: aged-- am counting this as "done" today, since i post processed it this morning :):)

Thankfully, "Super Mum" didn't crash to the floor but was certainly close to the edge!!

Siesta mode found in Philipsburg, St. Maarten.

Actually a Jack Daniels cookbook and coffee that is. Just a little reading material for my coffee break at work. I read cookbooks like any other book, from front to back. I've found more than a few recipes that I would like to try out of this book

A couple of the recipes I would like to try are the dressing for fresh tomato slices and supreme burgers, The farmhouse chicken fried steak recipe has me a bit curious also. The recipe actually calls for a cup of shredded cheese,

I always love a good stoneware mug. This one has happy fish escaping a hungry pelican. :)

"...in an octopus's garden, in the shade..."

My sister got me this gorgeous octopus mug from the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg back in November (but waited to surprise me with it and gave it to me for a Christmas pressie!)

a hot steaming cup of coffee, what could be finer to go with the pancakes we had for lunch. delicious!

so i'm trying to enjoy my morning coffee, but instead i'm blocking a bunch of perverts on Flickr. apparently when a photo gets Explored, the freaks come out. in spades. Uggh.

its a pictures of TREES, people ... nothing kinky to see here. i WILL (and i AM) block(ing) you.

and to everyone else who plays nice - good morning!

This is an old coffee mug that is not used so much nowadays. I purchased this in Sydney, Australia a number of years ago as a souvenir of a business trip that I was on!
