Day 10/366
To pay homage to my first career, I felt like I need to take a photo about being an engineer during the first few weeks of the 366 project. Hard hat, scale, blueprints, and graphs are what it’s all about.

One of three senior-living facilities constructed as part of the Aloha Garden Project, an initative of the U.S. military's Innovation Readiness Training program. During the Fall of 2009, Tyler Dube, civil engineering senior, had the honor of leading the illustrious 380-member Longhorn Band onto the football field. It’s the second consecutive year an engineering student has been named drum major, and the 12th overall in the band’s history.

The Västlänken mess. We will have to put up with this obstacle course for another seven years, as there is not a cat in hell's change that it will be finished by the promised date of 2026. Another section has run out of money and come to a standstill.

Civil engineering students Dan Lawrie and Will Sommer spent a month in Ghana building a house using sustainable materials and techniques, furthering the work started by two previous senior design teams.
