At the rock-musuem Ragnarock in Roskilde, you find this megafon where you can try your screaming abilities. Choosing between Beatles, Lady Gaga or Metallica you can show whether you are a "real" fan by screaming as loud as you can - measured in dB.
A fun interactive event for a museum, and it breaks the paradigm that you have to be quiet. This installation is though placed strategically further from other exhibition items, as it could give some visitors a chock :)
If you ever visit Roskilde, DK and you are interested in contemporary music, you need to check this place out. This could be while visiting Roskilde Festival.
This photo is from the opening of Ragnarock.
An emergency call sent an army of aerial, resuce and pumper fire trucks, as well as ambulances and the police to Coxwell subway station.
Photo taken on 2006-05-31. I never heard anything about what the emergency was though.

I love the contrast between the attractive young lady in a nice summer dress and the guy in his rugby kit. Taken at the recent Caldy 7's tournament.
I decided the weather was cool enough for me to break out my ghillie suit. I tried it in the back yard at my squirrel feeder and had a great time with a squirrel that was about 15 feet away checking out this "new bush" that was near its feeder. For several minutes it just laid on the branch, watching me before deciding the bush was no threat. I got some great pictures that way :).

Im officially retired! Im doing it in the name of LOVE. I traveled often for work. and have lost some relationships along the way. He wasnt sure if he could be with someone who was only home three months out of the year. Do I blame him? No. You live and learn.
Ive always been very good with money. I invested well early on and live an extremely humble life. I dont buy convenience. Those who know me, can testify to that! I do splurge every once in a while....mainly high end footwear and expensive lingerie. Does anyone even know I have them on? No.These items make me feel sexy and powerful. I worked hard to get to where Im at. Things werent handed to me. You can do anything in life. You must want it.
The last couple months have been bitter sweet. I had to make some life decisions. I wanted to focus on my personal life and travel more. I was very excited getting to know a particular someone......then realize I wasnt a priority in his life and he really had no intentions in creating a future with me. His silence is the loudest taunt of rejection. I was someone he passed the time with when he was bored. He said that often. "Im bored, entertain me". That was the LOVE part. Im over it and him. Move on =-)
Ive worked since I was 14 years old and have never been more then a week without a job. Im a busy body. Im excited to start a new life with spine tingling adventures and am elated to meet new people and rekindle old friendships. Hello Retirement!
When I got word that the TC&W was back out to Wood Lake to get more sand cars from storage, I headed over in the late morning to check out what work they were doing. I arrived to find them getting started by running one of the locomotives into the elevator track to check things out before they began sorting cars. Here, they've put the power back together as a couple crew members examine the fragile track.

Day 243 - Car check
Oliver was shopping today with Annika. In the meantime I've brought my car out of the garage. Tomorrow I want to look again into my geocache. If it's not too much rain, I can drive with my cool car :)

Thought I would check in with everyone since it's been awhile from my last posting. I met up with my buddy Ryan in Northern Vietnam and we've been travelling together for the last little bit.
I'm working on a street photography project here and I won't be posting any of those photos until I get back to Canada to sort through them. It's exciting and has rejuvenated my love of shooting street. Back to basics.

This is part of an ongoing personal project I have to habituate some Roe Deer to better understand their behaviour and to be able to photograph them close-up. I had a breakthrough with this small group in getting their curiosity and a bit of trust. I sat down nearby whilst they grazed, and every now and again they would come over to check out this odd human following them around.
