India Day 8 - Agra to Khajuraho
These kids are catching a ride sat on the back of a truck. Unfortunately the camera focused on something else, but thought I'd include the street scene anyway.
This one is to confirm for Bill Sweeney that I can be photographed in the pool! This is me catching Claire jumping into the pool.

I have not been able to do anything about pictures for a while having succumbed to a nasty flu just before Christmas and not really feeling like doing anything expect of trying to coax members of my family to end my misery.. Fortunately they have not listened and I have somehow recovered enough to grab my camera today and go outside and capture some of the snowflakes that keep falling out of the sky all day long... Pretty little things, aren't they?! It's been snowing on and off since before Christmas and the snow keeps accumulating (there is good 45cm of it on my deck already).. Missing the sun that has been trying valiantly to fight its way from behind the clouds today... Perhaps it'll win it's fight with them tomorrow? Let's hope so.. ;D
This is from the same snow storm as the last one. Actually, the same street but just on the corner. This is my good friend, Kent! We were walking from our house to our friends' house through the snow to watch a movie and hang out. Our other housemates didn't want to come haha I really hope it snows a lot more this winter. I have heard rumors of over 60 inches in Seattle! That is ridiculous!! and yet, I really hope it happens!!
Well, its finals week and I have two this morning. I survived I think. I just got one more tomorrow night and two papers due by friday and then it will be Christmas Break! I can't wait for it to be here! :) hope everyone is surviving finals week! whether it is this week or one of the upcoming weeks! :)

damselflies
This bird had joined a group of young mallards on the lake. I know there are both common and crested pochard in a small group nearby so I am not sure of her ID. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks Dylan.Edwards38. for the ID. Thanks to Dipperish as well.

This piece by Deb in Prahran has been up for quite a while but seems to have weathered pretty well. Artwork by Phibs in the background I believe.
This started out as 'reaching for the stars', or 'catching snowflakes', or slightly cornier, 'trying to get a handle on Christmas'
Zachary absolutely loves this game!
