It's always nice to observe social behaviour. And these days that almost invariably means catching people using their smart phones.

One of my photographs, “The Conversation of Art” from last year’s show, was used by the John Glover Society to promote this year’s event.

No longer shadow boxing.

This is long overdue. It is time I stop letting people hold me back. This is my life and I won't be told what is right or wrong.

Make up your own damn mind people. Do not let society, politics, friends or family tell you how to think, who to support or how to behave or hold you back. The best you can do is be who you are and be proud of it and stand for what you feel is RIGHT!

If you have problems like I do, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what you can do to make your own life better than reach out and take that bull by the horns and show it who the boss is. You are your own boss.

I see the beauty in every mistake I've ever made because it has helped create the best version I can be. I thank my God for loving me like he does. I thank my God for the path I now lead. I thank my God for not judging me by my mistakes. I thank God for every breath.

Matt: 22 Verses 36 - 39

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. Michelangelo

Thank you Mira for letting me use her as a gorgeous guinea pig while I am learning!

Creative edit of a Eucalyptus tree bark section, but through my eyes it is a mountain landscape catching moonlight.

just enjoying myself a little *winks*

Black-and-white Warblers such as this one make their living on tree trunks and branches, probing the bark for insects with their slightly downcurved bills. While this quick little bird had been moving about mostly in the shadows, it popped out momentarily into the sunlight for this late afternoon shot.

The Driftwood Turn dodges in and out of clouds heading south to interchange stone in Driftwood,PA with NS. Was going through some of these photos the other day and I definitely miss being able to chase these trains weekly.

Linus has a new toy, a butterfly ! The butterfly is a battery operated cat toy, it moves and flutters and Linus loves it. He is always utterly disppointed when I take it away for a while. I haven't managed a good photo of Linus and the complete toy yet but here is a link if you want to know what it looks like: www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_toys/chase/exclusives/477128 The toy came with three replacement butterflies but after two days of excessive use butterfly number one still looks good.

A tree on the little limestone hill at The Haven resort. This was taken in the morning when part of the tree caught the sun's rays.

So I'm walking on the beach, I look up, and what do I see, a small fish catching a ride on the birds mouth! How cool is that?
