This is one I took a couple of weeks back from Surprise view corner just after the sun had gone down, I wanted to get a few car light trails going past but as the traffic was fairly light I needed to be able to shoot them over several minutes so using the 'live composite' function on my camera was ideal for this, I added a 3 stop ND filter to get a 2.5 second exposure and let the camera capture the build up of passing cars, I even got the benefit of the 272 bus going past.(2.5 second images live composite over 3.5 minutes f6.3 @ 7mm NiSi GND8 (3 stop) reverse grad + 3 stop ND filter 3D printed adaptor)
I swung by Proctor before work yesterday morning to try and get a shot of the maroon pair. Just as I pulled up this limestone train was approaching the overpass. I managed to catch him as the morning sun illuminated the power and the first couple of cars through a gap in the trees.

I really enjoyed capturing this festive themed Sphereball image.
Happy Christmas to all that celebrates it 😁

These Kangaroo Paw flowers look somewhat weird when viewed close up. "kangaroo paws are much in demand as house plants and as cut flowers. The red-and-green kangaroo paw is the floral emblem of Western Australia." - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anigozanthos
