In September of 2012, one of the InSTEDD iLab Southeast Asia's Senior Software Developers, Channa Ly, taught a PHP study group. Women weavers, village farmers, bee-keepers and volunteers were some of the participants in the Partners’ meeting, which Samdhana held last February 09, 2017 in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. They were grantees which Samdhana supported in the last two years. The Partners’ meeting aimed to glean lessons from the experiences of the Partners in implementing their small grants projects.
25 enero,2023, Buenos Aires, Argentina- El Director General de la FAO, QU Dongyu, mantuvo un encuentro con el Ministro de EconomÃa de Argentina, Sergio Massa, en Palacio de Hacienda y con el Secretario de Agricultura, GanaderÃa y Pesca de La Nación, Juan José Bahillo, en el cual realizó un repaso del plan de acción de la FAO en la Argentina, asà como también de los programas en curso de la Organización en el paÃs. La FAO también firmó un proyecto en el marco del Programa de Cooperación Sur-Sur (CSS) FAO-China, a través del cual la FAO apoyará a los paÃses de la CELAC en respuesta a sus demandas de acciones COVID-19 en la región, con un enfoque en las poblaciones más vulnerables, particularmente en áreas rurales y en pueblos y ciudades pequeñas y medianas, y asà lograr la inclusión económica y protección social para reducir la pobreza; impulsar la resiliencia de los pequeños agricultores para la recuperación; y la transformación de los sistemas alimentarios. La FAO también renovó un convenio con la Comisión Nacional Asesora de BiotecnologÃa Agropecuaria (CONABIA) para seguir fortaleciendo lazos de cooperación que permitan a la CONABIA brindar asistencia técnica y realizar actividades de fortalecimiento de capacidades en materia regulatoria de bioseguridad de la biotecnologÃa agropecuaria.

25 January,2023, Buenos Aires, Argentina- FAO Director-General QU Dongyu met with the Minister of Economy of Argentina, Sergio Massa, at the Finance Palace and with the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, Juan José Bahillo, to review FAO's plan of action in Argentina, as well as the Organization's ongoing programs in the country. FAO also signed a project within the framework of the FAO-China South-South Cooperation (SSC) Program, through which FAO will support CELAC countries in response to their demands for COVID-19 actions in the region, with a focus on the most vulnerable populations, particularly in rural areas and in small and medium-sized towns and cities, and thus achieve economic inclusion and social protection to reduce poverty; boost the resilience of small farmers for recovery; and the transformation of food systems. FAO also renewed of an agreement with the National Advisory Commission on Agricultural Biotechnology (CONABIA) to continue strengthening cooperation ties that will enable CONABIA to provide technical assistance and carry out capacity-building activities on biosafety regulatory issues related to agricultural biotechnology.
