My gentle rescue Doberman is a mean hunter: the best in his pack. It's not that Zooie's the fastest or the most agile. He's just the most patient. He will sniff out his target and stand there and wait. He's waits and waits, sometimes as long as twenty minutes. He just stands there and watches. The other dogs will pick up on the scent and gather round, sometimes digging and sniffing the spot. They soon lose interest though. When the critter finally feels safe to move, Zooie springs. Of course I stop this behavior when I'm outside with him. I love all my backyard critters and hate to see them become a tasty snack for Zooie, especially since he is already well fed.

I read the side effects to one of my medications it said it may cause suicidal thoughts which was a concern to me so I called my doctor and she seemed insulted that I raised this concern asking me "What kind of doctor do you think I am? Do you think I would prescribe a medication that I thought would make my patients commit suicide?" How does one answer that? "Maybe if you didn't know it was one of the side effects." But I didn't say any thing, I also didn't take the medication until I asked another one of my doctors who calmly explained that one of the problems with warning labels on pills is that they don't give you the percentage of likelihood that you might experience a side effect if the label said it was less than 1 percent chance people might feel more comfortable taking the medication. The pill companies don't want to get sued so they list any thing that people during the trial runs experienced even is it's unrelated, if someone broke their arm during a test trial for a medication they would list it as a possible side effect. So after that I felt more comfortable taking it and the medication helped a lot. Reading those warning labels can be scary so it's nice to have a doctor that can put it in perspective.

I'm told these ladies are cancer survivors and are back to living their lives to the fullest.
With their pink vests and smiling faces they rowed to the outdoor eatery at the base of the North T-Pier and paused for a quick picture.
"You are a tireless self-promoter and gave yourself the nickname the Martha Stewart of Marijuana! Isn't that true Miss Shuman?" To which I replied... :) You're absolutely 100% correct Stuart :) (giggle) I've never denied that I'm a promoter. I have had my own business since 1984. When you're the CEO of a company, aren't you supposed to promote your company? I see everyone else doing the same with their own businesses. Since when is that an issue? I promote other people, other states, news etc. Quit frankly, I work hard and I'm proud of the work that I do. I don't see anyone else out there with the guts to be on the front lines and take the hits. I don't know many people that LIVE with cancer and continue to try to be productive and work as much as I do. Tooting my own horn, You're damn right. :) Loud and proud my brothers and sisters. I work my ass off. :) Rapid Fire Marketing (RFMK: Stock Symbol) was proud of my segment on Varney & Co and posted it on their site. Thanks for the support RFMK :) Did you guys happen to notice the CANNACig in the interview? I didn't get to mention it by name. I felt like Stuart was more interested in the price of marijuana than anything else? What did you guys think? It was hard to stay focused when he kept interrupting me :( What do you guys think? Cancer series, thinking of making a book out of this series, to sell and raise money for cancer charity, like the Creative Center that gives free art classes to people with cancer, keeping the spirit strong through art.
I posted a thread on Light Junkies called Light Painting Charity about creating a light painting group that would donate photos for a book to raise money for charity, a global LP collaboration. Looking for LP'ers and any advice in making a book, and maybe a website to sell the book and prints.
