because it was a narrow lane that we had stopped in, because Ian had not found a cache in Gloucestershire yet and mainly because it was air conditioned in my car and 29 degrees outside, I chose to send Ian out whilst I stayed in!

Our family went caching today to one of the caches that we hid. It was near the end of the day but that was good because it was cooler and not so hot. The area that we hiked around is great for caching with a lot of places to hide large ammo cans. This image was taken with an iPhone and put together with an iPhone app called Autostitch.

A male Long-eared Owl is roosting in the adjacent tree & i would like to presume the items are his, though this is something i havnt previously seen....
Earlier this week i listened to him as he sang a duet with his mate, she was at the nest, & at one point he landed to sing from the ground - again this is the first time ive noted this - the male usually using an elevated perch to "sing" from.
