I was standing on top of the big rock in the proximity of Haunted Hayride cache & it was 108º when I took this photo.

Why put out a regular switch plate cache when you can do one of these. Imagine looking for a cache and you look in the dark corner and see this. You just might jump!

Mom and Dad drove up to Anchorage in 1987 for Mark's graduation from Chapman College. In August, I drove down the Alaska and Cassiar highways in convoy with them as far as Cache Creek, BC, before we split up -- Mom and Dad back to Columbia Falls, me to Seattle, where I lived for three years. This picture was taken at Cache Creek our last evening together. Cache Creek, BC. Aug 1987.
