SF Muni Cable Cars of the Powell-Mason line, about to enter the turnaround at Bay St. I wanted to get pictures of the turntable and a video of them turning a car around (they do it by hand!), but this was the last picture my poor little camera battery would allow for the day. Sad.

The cable conforms to IEC & SAE Standard (EU & USA) of EV Charging, suits Electric Vehicles manufactured in European Countries and America. The Type 1 end (with sheath) connect to the EV while The Type 2 end connects to the Charging Station. The other option is Cable Spiral Type, it saves more space when stocking, nice solution for charging.

The famous Cable Car of San Francisco!

We rode on the cable car to downtown San Francisco for a look around and a bite to eat.

This is the first knitting pattern I made myself. I was really happy that the scarf turned out!

I don't have an actual pattern for cable socks, I'm just adding them in. One thing I learned is that you should be sure to line up the cables that will be continuing over the top of the foot before you divide for the heel. Or you end up splitting a cable between the first and second needles. Which not only makes it difficult to twist the cable (I'm proud to say I still managed it despite this) but it also means that sometimes you'll have to be decreasing at the same time (not actually possible just time the cable twists to coincide with non-decrease rows).

Note Powell St cable is not running (we see why later).
