) is an American crime drama television series, which premiered on CBS on October 6, 2000. CSI Las vegas dvd
was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. CSI: Las Vegas is filmed primarily at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.CSI: Las Vegas follows Las Vegas criminalists as they use physical evidence to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic drama, which has inspired a host of other cop-show 'procedurals.' An immediate ratings smash for CBS, CSI: Las Vegas mixes deduction, gritty subject matter and popular characters. The network quickly capitalized on its hit with spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

CSI: NY é o segundo spin-off da série CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Estreou em setembro de 2004 após derivar-se do episódio MIA/NYC-Nonstop, de CSI: Miami que foi ao ar no final da segunda temporada. O episódio conta a viagem de Horatio Caine (CSI: Miami) a Nova York em perseguição a um suspeito de homicídio que fugiu de Miami. O elenco original é composto por Gary Sinise (Mac Taylor), Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera), Vanessa Ferlito (Aiden Burn), Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), Hill Harper (Dr. Sheldon Hawkes) e Eddie Cahill (Donald "Don" Flack Jr.).
Com um clima muito mais sombrio que seus antecessores, é bem mais sangrento que a versão de Miami. Foi filmado com uma luz azulada até a segunda temporada, quando o presidente da CBS decidiu tornar o show "menos frio". Possui também um maior teor dramático que conta com a história do líder CSI, Mac, que perdeu a esposa no ataque terrorista às Torres Gêmeas de Nova York, em 11 de setembro de 2001.
n January 2014 the CSIS Russia and Eurasia Program launched the Eurasia Initiative. The first fruits of this project include a series of reports on Central Asia in a Reconnecting Eurasia. The decision to initiate these activities with Central Asia stemmed from a concern that the drawdown of U.S. and allied troops from Afghanistan would augur declining U.S. interest. For U.S. policymakers, turning away from Central Asia now would be a serious miscalculation. The five states of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) are located at the heart of the Eurasian landmass, in close proximity to four of Washington’s biggest foreign policy challenges: Afghanistan/Pakistan, Iran, Russia, and China. For that reason alone, the United States has a strong interest in developing economic and security ties with the states of Central Asia, and doing so in a way that is no longer driven by the exigencies of the war in Afghanistan, but is responsive to the needs and interests of the region itself, as well as enduring U.S. interests.

CSIS hosted a Congressional Dialogue event with members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees. They were: Senator Mark Udall (D-CO); Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS); Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-TX); and Rep. Jim Marshall (D-GA). Ray DuBois, a senior adviser at CSIS, provided the introduction. Maren Leed, a senior fellow with the CSIS International Security Program, moderated the event.
